Beyond Co., Ltd. will be conducting "AI & Virtual Interviews" for a limited time from Wednesday, March 6th to Friday, April 5th, 2024 for new graduate recruitment in 2025
Modern recruitment demands flexibility and diversity
In recent years, there are various recruitment interview methods, such as online, face-to-face, and hybrid formats, but companies are being asked to be flexible in their response so that job seekers can proceed with the selection process within the limited time available
In addition, with the growing awareness of diversity, it has become important for companies to focus on the inner qualities of job seekers, such as their personality, rather than on academic background or other external factors when hiring
We are looking for engineers who share Beyond's corporate philosophy and way of thinking
Beyond has never placed emphasis on academic background when hiring, and currently employs engineers with a variety of backgrounds. We are working to ensure that interviews are conducted on a level playing field, so that the interviewer and interviewee can stand on an equal footing and assess each other, without being bound by academic background or external factors
The AI interviews we are using for the first round of interviews can be conducted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at any time. We will refer to the evaluation report and proceed with the selection process based on the evaluation criteria established by Beyond
Furthermore, by conducting virtual interviews that allow us to learn about applicants' personalities and character, regardless of their educational background or external factors, we aim to hire people who can empathize with their desire to become engineers, their past experience, and Beyond's corporate philosophy and way of thinking
Why Beyond is implementing AI and virtual interviews

Beyond conducted virtual interviews in 2022 and metaverse interviews in 2023. When we actually conducted them, we found that both were good opportunities to meet students who were highly interested in the IT industry and had a strong desire to become engineers
Among these, virtual interviews allowed us to bring out the individuality of job seekers, and we were able to meet the talent Beyond was looking for, which is why we decided to hire again this year
In addition, AI interviews, which will be newly introduced this year, will unify selection criteria and enable fair and impartial first interviews that eliminate preconceptions. Interviews can be conducted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of time or location, reducing the burden on both companies and job seekers as they proceed with the selection process
We hope that AI and virtual interviews will allow us to meet job seekers who are aspiring to become engineers and have a strong interest in the IT industry
Why Beyond continues to adopt various methods
So far, we have implemented game-based recruitment content such as company information sessions within online games, "Novel Game Company Information Sessions," "Internship RPG," and "Escape Game Company Information Sessions." We have also tried various interview methods, such as incorporating virtual interviews and metaverse interviews
By proactively adopting new recruitment methods that we have developed in-house, we are able to create opportunities to meet more job-seekers and approach unique job-seekers with a variety of ways of thinking and backgrounds
Beyond's mission, "Making the world a little easier," means both "easy" and "fun."
