What is Terraform?
Terraform is a tool developed by HashiCorp that enables IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
By defining infrastructure configuration using a proprietary language called HCL (HashiCorp Configuration Language), you can automate the construction of cloud resources such as AWS, GCP, and Azure

Speaker information
Hiroko Umezu, Cloud Solutions Architect, Microsoft Japan
He is an infrastructure engineer, and previously worked at a game company where he was responsible for building and operating infrastructure for online games and web systems
He has experience with on-premise and public cloud, and is currently working as a cloud solutions architect for the gaming industry at Microsoft

Born in 1988. Joined Xtrans Co., Ltd. in 2011
He joined the company as a software engineer, but was fascinated by the infrastructure he encountered during his training period and was transferred to the infrastructure engineering department
In addition to the usual 24/7 support work, he utilizes his knowledge as a software engineer and infrastructure engineer to automate business processes and build new infrastructure

Joined Beyond in 2016 and is currently in his fourth year as an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)
As an MSP employee, I troubleshoot issues during outages while also designing and building infrastructure using public clouds such as AWS
Recently, he has been working with Hashicorp tools such as Terraform and Packer as part of building container infrastructure such as Docker and Kubernetes, and automating operations, and he also serves as an evangelist, speaking at external study groups and seminars
