[School visit] “Learn more about infrastructure engineers!” in Iwasaki Gakuen Information Science College

This is Kai Fujisawa from public relations.
I went on a school visit with the Japan MSP Association, which was the only recruitment event I went out on my own!

This time I went to Iwasaki Gakuen College of Information Science, located right next to Yokohama Station. As a high school graduate, university is an unknown place for me

We spoke to eight companies operating in the MSP business about the appeal of infrastructure engineers and the type of work they do

This time, an astonishing 120 students came to the event, and I had never spoken in front of such a large crowd before, so my legs were shaking... I'm terrible at sitting and listening to talks, so I have a lot of respect for you all

Our company was the second to last of the eight companies to introduce themselves, so we spoke throughout the long session, trying to gauge the mood of everyone who was listening

This is what the president is like

I'm really bad at explaining server operation using pictures, so I realized I need to gain more experience

While introducing our company's systems, the recently established "in-house DJ" caused a bit of a stir in the classroom (laughs)

After the information session, we borrowed a classroom and participated in a social gathering! (The students' faces are hidden by b marks.)

We had a stylish catering experience and asked about the current job hunting situation

He said he only worked part-time jobs during the summer holidays, and that he was unsure of what job he wanted to do... (The person on the right is Mr. Fujisawa from Seraku.)

By talking with the students at these social gatherings, I can think about what kind of recruitment activities I should conduct in the future. It's important to listen to real opinions, not just what's written on the internet
Well, next month I will be visiting Osaka Institute of Technology!
As a local company, this is a great opportunity for students in Osaka to get to know us. We will work hard to make it easier for them to understand that there is a job called infrastructure engineering!!
