"President's Meal" held for the first time! Students and presidents interacted candidly

This is Kai Fujisawa from public relations.

On February 6th, 2019, we held our first "President's Meal"

What is CEO Meshi?

Shacho Meshi is a recruitment event where job-seekers and company presidents can casually interact and chat over drinks!

At joint company information sessions and interviews, it's often difficult for people to open up to each other. So, talking over drinks is a good way to hear what students really think, and by getting closer to the "president," students can learn more about the company

Bewell Co., Ltd. , which runs a job hunting cafe in Honmachi, Osaka , and was a first for Beyond.

Held at a pub near the company

Izakayas are a place where you can talk without feeling nervous

We gathered at Hidamari, a restaurant close to the office that is frequently used by members of the company

Initially, we had planned to hold the event with a small number of participants, but we were able to attract a total of eight students!

Four people from our company participated: CEO Haraoka, engineers Nakagawa and Miyazaki, and public relations officer Fujisawa

First, I'll introduce myself and talk about recent events

At first, the students looked nervous, but as time went on, they started to smile more and more

Then, while looking at the company brochure, we will explain what kind of work Beyond does and what companies it does business with

Question Time

Next, some of the questions that had been collected in advance, "Things you would like to ask the president," were announced, and Haraoka answered them

The good thing about President's Meals is that you can ask the president directly

"What kind of people are active in the company?"

"What can I gain experience in the IT industry and grow from?"

In response to questions from students such as

"People who thrive in the company are honest people who can absorb anything."

"Because it's such a fast-paced industry, you gain a lot of knowledge and it's fun."

Haraoka answered

The students were able to ask frank questions that they would find difficult to ask in a formal interview atmosphere, so I think the things they wanted to know were easily captured in their minds

By the way, some of the questions we were collecting were extremely difficult, such as "What is your policy regarding work and private life?", which left me thinking, "Do you even have a policy regarding your private life...?!" (laughs)

We are doing our first "1-day internship"!
