ServerCamp Corporate Training Plan | Osaka eGames High School

Our service, "ServerCamp," is a comprehensive learning platform for those aspiring to become infrastructure engineers. We offer a systematic curriculum that covers everything from the basics of networks, servers, and clouds to practical construction and operation, for those aspiring to become engineers without experience, and for those who want to further their skills as infrastructure engineers

Among these, we were asked to provide a "Corporate Training Plan" and implemented it at Osaka eGames High School. We spoke with Mr. Muramoto of Amazing Inc., the operator of Osaka eGames High School, about the background to and impressions of introducing the lectures

Lecture content

This lecture was an introductory lecture on the profession of server engineer. (Lecturer: Teraoka)

• How to become a server engineer (necessary qualifications, etc.)
• Memorable experiences in a server engineer's work (case studies)

-Please tell us about Osaka eGames High School

Mr. Muramoto: Osaka eGames High School is a correspondence high school support school based in Namba, Osaka, where students can acquire a high school diploma while studying e-sports, game production, and game business.

Founded 23 years ago, the school is run by the independent game maker Amazing Inc. and is known for its comprehensive online and offline curriculum created by active members of the game industry and e-sports industry

-Please tell us the background to the course

Mr. Muramoto: For this course, we requested it as part of the curriculum for high school seniors, with the focus on "learning about the work of a server engineer."

This practical classroom curriculum focuses on the work of a server engineer, and we asked for this lecture with the aim of learning about the job of a server engineer and deepening understanding of the profession by hearing directly from engineers who are active in the field

-Please tell us your thoughts about the course

Mr. Muramoto: I think I had a basic understanding of the concepts from our academy's video curriculum, "Game Programmer Basics 4: Explanation of Online Game Programming Server-Side," etc. Based on that, I was able to listen with interest to the introduction of actual trouble cases.

During the question block, students were seen asking questions based on examples of server-related issues they had encountered in games

--Whatare your expectations and hopes for the future?

Mr. Muramoto: I would be happy to continue this annual course, adding the latest information as we go along! Thank you for your cooperation!
