However, serious gamers might be wondering why there's so much, so I try not to spend more money than necessary and choose products that offer excellent cost performance

Is the microphone's wireless connection stable?

The first thing that is important when introducing a wireless microphone is whether it is a product that is unlikely to have problems such as sound cutting out

In addition to checking how easily the sound cuts out, you should also check how far away it can be used depending on your intended use

Is it loud enough?

Next, depending on the size of the venue you want to use, you should check in advance how much volume you can handle

Features of Moukey MTs12-1

The Moukey MTs12-1 is a lightweight, portable wireless speaker with built-in microphone. Not only can you use the microphone wirelessly, but you can also play audio via AUX (line connection) or Bluetooth

It also has two wired microphone connections, which can be used to play instruments other than microphones, such as guitars

It also has a knob to adjust the echo on the microphone, so it looks like it could be used for small karaoke events. This unit is powered by an AC adapter, but a built-in battery , it will be useful in places where it is difficult to secure a power source, such as outdoors.

The battery is said to last up to three hours, but we haven't been able to verify how long it actually lasts, so we won't go into detail here

There are TREBLE and BASS knobs, so you can adjust the high and low frequencies to your liking. Personally, I would have liked a MIDDLE knob, but considering the price, I think the ability to adjust the sound quality is sufficient

Impressions after actually using the Moukey MTs12-1

is a photo of an event held in a shared space within Beyond, where the Moukey MTs12-1 was actually used

When we actually tried using it, the wireless microphone connection was stable throughout and we were able to use it without any problems. There were about 30 people in attendance on the day, and we didn't encounter any problems such as difficulty hearing the audio

Regarding the sound quality, which some may be concerned about, I personally felt that the sound quality was quite boomy (a sound that emphasizes the high and low frequencies) and not one that would be comfortable to listen to music on.

Therefore, if you are considering using it for musical purposes, we recommend that you acknowledge the above before purchasing.

However, it is a very good option for talk-based events such as seminars

If you look into speakers with wireless microphones, you'll find that this type of equipment is quite expensive

Speakers of a similar size from well-known manufacturers cost around 100,000 yen. In contrast, the Moukey MTs12-1 is only 18,360 yen (as of June 2022)! ( High-pitched falsetto)

Anyway, the price is cheap. If you overlook the fact that the sound quality is a little lacking, I think the performance is more than sufficient

Good points of Moukey MTs12-1

I felt that the good points of the Moukey MTs12-1 were as follows:

• Incredibly good cost performance
• The wireless microphone can be used stably (it seems to work without any problems even up to about 15m away)
• Enough volume for a small venue
• Lightweight and with handles and casters for easy portability
• Equipped with convenient features such as Bluetooth and FM radio (Bluetooth was easy to connect and worked without any problems)

Some disappointing points about the Moukey MTs12-1

On the other hand, I'd like to mention some of the things that I personally found a little disappointing

• The volume is not very loud considering the 200W spec
• Sound quality is somewhat lacking in depth given the speaker's size
• The microphone battery drains quickly (it's a good idea to have spare batteries on hand if you're using it for a long event)
• The unit is a little large for its volume (but it's lighter than it looks)

Regarding the volume, the audio source is relatively loud, but the microphone volume tends to be a little low

When using it for karaoke, etc., the microphone itself has a volume knob in addition to the overall volume, so it is a good idea to use this to adjust the balance

Summary: The Moukey MTs12-1 is highly practical! If you value cost performance, this is it!
