What is an intercultural exchange event?

The intercultural exchange eventis held irregularly at the Hataraku PJ, primarily with the aim of fostering understanding of the home countries and cultures of our employees from overseas.
Past events have included Canada 🍁, China 🐼, and India 🍛.

Held during lunchtime, the event includes quizzes to foster cultural understanding and offers iconic snacks from each country.
It's always well-received by participating employees (compared to previous events).

Vietnam Edition: What it was like on the day🌺

Perhaps it was because intercultural exchange events have become more widely known, or perhaps it was just good timing, but this was the most attended event we have ever had


For snacks, they served seafood spring rolls and beef salad. The fish sauce gave it a nice, unique flavor.
(The cilantro was served separately, so those who like it just munched on it.)

In addition to the food, the event also included various quizzes about Vietnamese culture and life, presented in a multiple-choice format (by raising hands).
There was quite a bit of variation in the answers, which made it very exciting.

and it certainly has a strong ethnic feel to it. They also seem to offer unusual dishes like frog, which made me, a self-proclaimed hunter of unusual foods, want to visit again in my private time.
