Hello!
I'm Takenaka from the System Solutions Department and I am affiliated with the Diversity and Work Style Reform Project (commonly known as Hataraku).
This time, we will be reporting that Beyond has registered as a company with the "Declaration of Vibrancy and Energeticity of Men and Women" on December 11, 2024!
What is the "Declaration of Vibrancy and Energeticity for Men and Women" Business Registration System?
Osaka Prefecture registers businesses that are willing to promote initiatives that allow both men and women to work vigorously, such as "Utilizing women's abilities" and "Supporting balancing work and family" as businesses that declare vigorously and energetic This system will support your efforts by doing so.
Once acquired, you can also post as an initiative by a registered business on the Osaka Prefecture website.
The process to register
*For application details, please refer to the Osaka Prefecture website below.
Regarding the "Men and Women's Vibrant and Energetic Declaration" Business Registration System
This is the process that has progressed widely for our company.
1. Fill in and submit application forms and initiative status survey form
② Zoom hearing
③ Notification of registration completion
④ Confirm the contents posted on the Osaka Prefecture website
1. Fill in and submit application forms and initiative status survey form
Application form (word) : This will list the company's location, business content, and internal initiatives. We can also apply for certification to the "Osaka City Women's Leading Company."
Engagement Status Questionnaire (Excel) : We will answer a choice-on-one survey regarding actual activities, such as women's active participation, support for male childcare participation, promotion of life-work balance, and efforts to work together with men and women.
Once the above two items are ready, we will contact you by referring to the application location on the website.
We applied via email.
② Zoom hearing
After the application notification was completed, we received a notification of schedule arrangement the next day, and we conducted a hearing on Zoom for about an hour.
There were two staff members from Osaka Prefecture, and the event proceeded with an atmosphere similar to an interview.
Basically, I feel that many of the initiative status questionnaires that were answered in advance were deeply engraved on the content written in the open-ended response section.
We answered the question of what led us to learn about the "Declaration of Vibrancy and Energeticity of Men and Women," and what we did in our case in the Diversity and Work Style Reform Project (commonly known as Hataraku).
It was said that no advance preparations were required when conducting the interview, but I think it would be possible to proceed smoothly if you simply compile a list of initiatives in advance.
③ Notification of registration completion
The interview was completed. Five days later, I received an email saying that I had successfully completed registration!
Later, I received my registration certificate (A4), stickers (about the size of the palm of my hand), and a business card sticker at the head office address listed on the application form.
④ Confirm the contents posted on the Osaka Prefecture website
As mentioned at the beginning, after registration, the details of the initiative will be posted on the Osaka Prefecture website.
The Osaka Prefecture staff will compile the initiatives based on the content of the interview, so we will check the plans to publish.
Below, we also list our efforts, so please take a look!
(There's so much I want to write about it, and it's become voluminous lol)

summary
Regarding registration, I think the feeling that preparations were difficult was not very good, and it was progressing relatively smoothly.
Beyond will continue to promote diversity, inclusion, male parental leave, and female active participation, with the aim of creating a comfortable working environment!
