What is web speed?
This is a dedicated WordPress cloud server with a fixed monthly service fee that provides standard features such as cyber attack protection, faster site display, and automatic backup functions.
With WebSpeed, WordPress is installed from the beginning, so you can immediately start building websites using WordPress, such as homepages.
Additionally, there is no need for customers to worry about complex server settings or security, and the service includes site monitoring and operational support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so they can focus on building their website. Another feature is that it can be done.
Background to WebSpeed feature updates
Until now, WebSpeed had specialized in server infrastructure support, but it did not provide updates or operational support for WordPress main functions (core plugins, etc.). However, as security issues such as attacks that exploit WordPress vulnerabilities are increasing year by year, we have received many requests for security support for WordPress itself.
In order to meet this background and demand, we have added a new WordPress security maintenance service as a major update to WebSpeed, allowing us to consistently provide security support for WordPress and infrastructure support such as middleware. We have updated the functionality.

About major security feature updates
This time, WordPress security maintenance will be newly added.
1.Regular updates for WordPress core plugins (monthly)
Regular updates will be carried out for WordPress core plugins once a month.
2. Tampering detection (every 10 minutes)
The detection frequency varies depending on the plan, but WordPress files are checked regularly and any tampering is detected. Detection will be performed 24 hours a day.
3. Restricting login and comment posting to domestic IPs and other security settings
In response to customer requests, we will restrict login to the management screen and comment posting to domestic IPs and add security settings.
4.Application Vulnerability Diagnosis (Monthly) Tamper Recovery
Once a month, we will conduct a WordPress vulnerability diagnosis and submit a report. In the unlikely event that tampering is detected and restoration is deemed necessary, we will carry out restoration work.
5. Urgent update of WordPress core plugin vulnerabilities
vulnerabilities corresponding to CVSS9-10 and CVSS7-8 are announced for WordPress core plugins , and corresponding updates are released, an emergency update will be issued. Perform the update.
