Therefore, we would like to host game-related study sessions about four times a year

This time I will write about the first study session

The theme of the study group was "Game Company's Failure Teacher" - Behind the scenes and failure stories of game development/management .

We created an event on doorkeeper and connpass Facebook , the capacity was exceeded.

We don't attract many customers.
There are a lot of people who are interested in gaming-related topics.

The first session was with Atsushi Yoshida, CEO and CTO of Okeya Co., Ltd.

"What I learned from developing and running ' The Witch's Work '..." He then
talked about some of the failures he faced in running his company's title, 'The Witch's Work'.

The second session was with Takaya Matsui, CEO of Efreez Co., Ltd.

He said, "There are so many things about running a social game that you think you know but don't," and
he talked about the management and planning aspects, but it was all content that I can't write about here.

The third session will be presented by our company representative, Masahiro Haraoka, CEO of Beyond Co.,

I was pretty exhausted by the book "Five Things You Shouldn't Do When Operating a Game Server."
As a member of Beyond, I was nervous about whether it was okay to go that far.

I haven't written anything about the story, but even if I wanted to, I couldn't.
That's how dangerous the story was.

The theme of this article is failure, but none of the three companies fail in general.
I've just introduced a few examples of companies that happened to fail. (No, seriously!)

After each session, we had a light social gathering, and I was able to make some new acquaintances.
I think that the study group should continue, but it's hard to come up with a topic.
