Three gaming companies announced their financial results on April 8th, so here is a summary.

Sales: 6,429 million yen (2.8% increase compared to the same period last year)

Operating income: 1.01 billion yen (down 31.3%)

Ordinary profit: 989 million yen (down 33.3%)

Net income: 622 million yen (down 31.2%)

Development promotion/support business

7 new sales of products such as middleware "OROCHI4" and "Mizuchi" for game developers, 52 cases of continued middleware maintenance support

Sales of new licenses for some middleware were delayed due to lost orders and other parties' circumstances.

 

Content business

• The number of downloads for "Fantasica Counterattack" has increased by approximately 70,000 to 8.05 million worldwide.
• The number of downloads of "Ishtaria of Time" has increased by approximately 320,000 to 2.75 million worldwide.
• The number of downloads for “Sengoku Busho Hime -MURAMASA-” increased by approximately 50,000 to 830,000.
• The number of downloads of “Gransphere” has increased by approximately 80,000 to 1.4 million worldwide.
• Regarding “Sengoku Himetan MURAMASA-Miyabi-”, the number of downloads increased by approximately 630,000 to 3.54 million.

A total of 508 general dispatched workers were working at dispatched companies during the first quarter of the current consolidated cumulative period.The
number of contracts for paid employment placements during the first quarter of the current consolidated cumulative period was 18.

Operating income: 41 million yen (down 80.9%)

Ordinary profit: 14 million yen (down 92.2%)

Fortune telling content business

In the fortune-telling content business, while we saw modest results in the acquisition of light users and advertising revenue through fortune-telling apps, billing revenue was weak due to a decline in the number of members in membership-based content and the absence of blockbuster content. Sales and profits decreased without showing the same sales growth as the same period last year.

Game content business

While new titles are being released, upfront investment due to continued development is increasing.
