[SNS Commonality] First SNS Official Account Meetup! [I want to say it soon]

table of contents
My name is Umi Fujisawa, and I am in charge of public relations and recruitment
Does your company an official social media account
"I have accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, but I don't have any content to post, so I don't update them properly..."
If you're one of those people, I'm too
Recently, I have been attending study groups and social gatherings in the Kansai region more often, and I have often found myself thinking, "I'd like to host such fun gatherings myself."
So I gave it a try.
"SNS Official Account Meetup ~I want to say SNS things quickly~"

This project was planned with the desire to share common things that happen on social media
Our usual Beyond study sessions have focused on technical topics, but we wanted to try a more relaxed gathering, so this is the first time we've held one
The location is WeWork in Namba SkyO!

The view from the 27th floor is amazing, and you unlimited beer refills . That means you can drink from noon. With such a great location, any event is sure to be fun.
Everyone is worried about this
The theme of this event "Let's share our concerns about official social media accounts," and participants were given a survey in advance.
Here are some of them
■ Social media account management system
- I've started using SNS, but I don't know the direction or theme
- Since the entire project is left to the company, regular updates tend to be delayed
- How to decide on a personality for your social media accounts
■ Creating new content every day
- Ideas for triggers and strategies to gain followers
- How to plan content that will spread easily
- First of all, I'm not sure how many readers there are, or whether it's worth doing
■ The line between buzz and flame wars
- How do we create a buzz?
- The perfect balance between creating buzz and not causing a firestorm
- How to deal with aggressive replies
Some of the concerns I found relatable, but others had more advanced concerns, and I realized that social media management is a complex subject
One concern I personally sympathized with was the "gap between my own perception and that of the company."
Even though I'm such a careless person, the company I work for provides a trust-based service of operating and maintaining servers. Should I close this huge gap, or take advantage of it?
The event started with such a feeling of unease!!

After a quick greeting and toast, Beyond Fujisawa spoke in the first session
what a zero-name-known server company did to get likes , the types of content I post on the social media accounts I currently use.

We talked about everything from meaningless things to things that received a certain amount of response, such as the trending tapioca tweet ( #Tapikatsu beyond_syacho where our CEO Haraoka keeps posting pictures
Looking at the analytics, we can see that recruitment topics indeed the most popular on Twitter
Session 2
Next up on stage were Hiroyuki Kitabayashi CEO of Cookai Inc. Yuki Sasaki, branding producer
Cookai Inc. provides business development support, handles branding and marketing for a variety of industries, including manufacturers, food and beverage, and government agencies.

We were given a detailed introduction to how to use each social media platform, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LINE@, in product branding , as well as how to use them
Yuki Sasaki has always been very helpful to us at the Kansai Public Relations 100 Study Group, and when we asked her about speaking at the event, she gave us the OK so quickly that I was amazed, so I am extremely grateful
Session 3
The final session will by Michitaro Nakajima , Planning, Management and Recruitment for Mix Leap at Yahoo Japan Corporation !

Mr. Nakajima is the person behind @yahoo_osaka_jp
They also manage Mix Leap , which is held at Yahoo Osaka

Nakajima also previously operated the Yahoo Fortune Twitter account ( @YahooJP_Fortune
He used examples to explain that the key to staying relevant is to bring out the characteristics of the person inside
This story really struck a chord with me, as I tend to look for one-off stories (lol)
Theme Session
After the three sessions, we that participants wouldn't be able to share their SNS experiences if they just listened, so we held a group discussion based on the concerns we received from the questionnaire.
The two themes are:
- SNS account operation system
- Daily updated content creation
using social media, which tends to seem simple but doesn't work out well and people end up abandoning it, such as creating an account but not using it, not knowing what to post and with what enthusiasm, or getting depressed when they post and get no response.

As I listened to what was discussed
- "When several people are running the account , decide who will post how many times per day and report the content they will post the day before ."
- " Hardworking, clumsy characters are easy to root for and become popular."
Such as actual SNS know-how
- Don't get discouraged when you get an aggressive reply ."
- " posting late at night because it becomes like poetry."
We were also informed about the risks involved in carrying out such operations
Posting poetry late at night on a personal account is less damaging, but posting it on a company account is more dangerous (lol)

As expected, all the participants had high communication skills and gave presentations that were far more fluent than the content of my presentation
After the theme session, which was rather rushed, there was a rather rushed social gathering before the event came to a close

I hope this event will be a place where you can share your concerns with each other!
what can I do to increase my fan base on social media I'd like to think about these things together.
By the way, the mistake I made this time was that I was supposed to post a live report on the study session on Twitter using the hashtag " #beyondsutudy ", but I was so pressed for time that I couldn't even tweet a single thing. Is this something that can be done on social media?
Next time, I'd like to hold the event with enough time to tweet or leave the live commentary to someone else!!
