[Company system] I went to Okinawa using my refresh leave.

One of these is a system called refreshment leave

The system is that after 5 years of continuous employment, you
will receive 2 weeks off and merit pay (100,000 yen) from the company.

This system was established in November 2018, and at that time I had completed the five-year service requirement, so
I decided to use it during my summer vacation this year. I am the first employee.

After getting it, I decided to go to Okinawa in the summer and started preparing.

Expedia's strongest

I browsed various travel sites to try to lower the travel cost as much as possible.
I think you've probably seen most of the travel sites at the moment.
I also calculated how much it would cost to use a site that only offers airline tickets and a site that only offers hotels.

Among them, Expedia has the best cost performance! ! (Personal opinion only)

It was pouring rain at Kansai International Airport, and to make matters worse, a typhoon was approaching Okinawa.

The plane was delayed by an hour, and the person sitting next to me at McDonald's was talking about the flight to Miyakojima being canceled, so I managed to take off despite the dark clouds!

I fell asleep on the plane, and when I woke up, it was a clear day and I was relieved.

Okinawa Marriott, a drinker's paradise

The hotel we stayed at was Okinawa Marriott Resort & Spa

Since I received a merit award from the company, I decided to upgrade my room to an executive floor.

I went there thinking the rooms were just a little nicer, but
I was surprised by the variety and content of the benefits.

One of them is a private lounge.

There are two types of lounges: Ocean (no entry allowed under the age of 20) and Forest, and
meals, desserts, and several types of alcohol are always available at each of them during the following times.

I woke up in the morning and was thirsty, so I drank beer in the morning, feeling as light as drinking Orion beer.

We had quite a lot of drinks and food for our family of four, so
I think it would have been cheaper overall if we had stayed in an executive room. (Actually, I don't know...)

Other benefits are as follows.

• Free umbrellas and deckchairs on nearby beaches

At night, there was a live sanshin performance on the pool bridge, and it was my first time experiencing the trendy night pool! !

You should go to Fukugi Namiki.

I think Churaumi Aquarium is the spot that most people go to when they go to Okinawa.

Did you know that there is a spot called Fukugi Namiki right next to it?

By the way, I went to Fukugi Namiki on the second day and went to the aquarium on the fourth day, so I was wondering if I hadn't passed this road the other day? That's how I found out that the two spots were close.

It's so close!

This road continues for several kilometers, and you can rent bicycles.

The nearby sea is also very beautiful.

I think it's best to go to the Fukugi trees in the morning when it's cool, and go to the aquarium in the afternoon when it gets hot.

The theme of this trip was not only to entertain the children, but also to satisfy my wife.

I took full care of the children, and my wife was allowed to enjoy the lounge, which is prohibited to anyone under the age of 20.

It was quite difficult, but I was able to do it thoroughly, so I was satisfied with myself. (I fell asleep on the third day though)

I was able to go on a trip like this because of the company that created the system, and the team members and engineers who worked on my behalf. I have nothing but gratitude.
