A failure story in recruitment public relations turned into a success [Kansai public relations 100 study group]

My name is Fujisawa and I am in charge of public relations and recruitment.

As 2019 is almost over, I've been talking about my failures

Kansai Public Relations 100 Study Group ! !

What is Kansai Public Relations 100 Study Group?

The Kansai Public Relations 100 Study Group is a study group made up of public relations personnel from Kansai companies and organizations. Once every two months, we hold case study presentations and invite members of the media to deepen our learning and build networks. Since 2015, we have been holding study groups on various themes with member companies taking turns as secretaries, with the aim of having 100 companies and 100 media participants and holding 100 times.

I am pleased to be able to take the stage again after last December. (Last year's research meeting report and presentation contents are also summarized on the blog)

▲The venue is the stylish office of AI Engineering Co., Ltd.

Theme: “Recruitment public relations for small and medium-sized enterprises”

The theme this time "Recruitment PR for Small and Medium Enterprises," and sessions were held by four companies belonging to the study group and guests.

▲Mr. Nishiyama, representative of the research group

This year's study sessions were held seven times with themes such as inbound marketing and community marketing.

▲ Mr. Ono from Alongi Co.

I am active as a career consultant at a job change agent. They shared their knowledge about the current recruitment industry, and we heard many interesting stories at the social gathering. Mr. Alongi's ``imaginary office lady diary'' on Instagram is also very interesting.

▲ Mr. Kim from Ilgurum Co., Ltd.

The company name was changed from Lockon in August, and the new logo is said to represent a "circle of employees" made up of five overlapping rubber bands. (How stylish...!) When renewing the site, the in-house blog ``Ilgrum no Wa'' and is being operated as an owned media.

▲ Mr. Yamaguchi of Nakajima Kogyo Co. , Engineering Co., Ltd.

Mr. Yamaguchi, who originally worked as a network engineer, is also working as a plant engineer while also working on recruitment PR. While dealing with information that cannot be shared outside of the factory, various efforts have been made, such as creating a recruitment website that fully exposes people and creating scouting messages for students that are easy to read.

▲ Mr. Kajiwara from Akashi City Hall

We are currently recruiting Akashi City employees. We promote Akashi City's unique style on posters, perform our own manzai at information sessions, and use unique ideas to convey our charm to students!

▲ Mr. Goto of Lapre Co., Ltd.

They provide PR support for companies and restaurants, and they also support our company's public relations activities. We have introduced some interesting recruitment promotion projects that have been featured in the media, such as ``Heartbreak Vacation'' and ``Mystery Solving Game Selection.'' The number of days of break-up leave is proportional to the ``severity of the pain'', with people in their early 20s taking 1 day, people in their late 20s taking 2 days, and people in their 30s and over taking 3 days... (lol)

▲ Media guest: Mr. Idota from Yomiuri Shimbun

Participants answered questions regarding public relations and recruitment.

▲ Beyond Fujisawa

We talked about failure stories, focusing on the recruitment activities for new graduates that we worked on this year.

I personally believe that how a recruiter can make use of these failures next year will be the highlight of the recruiter's abilities.

we are planning a school visit with about three IT companies in the Kansai region in the new year In addition to Osaka we will also be hiring Shikoku, Yokohama, and Canada

I'm sure there will be some new failures in this first attempt, but I will do my best to promote recruitment so that I can increase the number of success stories.

Recruitment site currently under construction

Scheduled to be released in January 2020! Look forward to it.
