Interview with Kojima
What made you want to work for your company?
I'm originally from Hyogo Prefecture, where I lived until I graduated from high school. I then moved to Tokushima when I went to university.
I really liked the people and the atmosphere of the town, and I loved it so much.
I moved to Tokyo for graduate school, but my love for Tokushima never faded, so I decided to stay.
Because I love Tokushima, I wanted a job that would allow me to interact with the people of Tokushima, and I was attracted to the satellite office.
I wanted to work at Genio, which is committed to doing something in the local community.
What kind of work do you do?
I work in public relations. I communicate
the efforts of the satellite office and the company, and
hold meetings with reporters to get coverage in newspapers and other media.
What do you find appealing and rewarding about your job?
I work in public relations, so I communicate the company's efforts, and
I'm happy when employees and other people in the company are pleased when our work is featured in newspapers and other media.
When we post announcements on our website or are featured in the local newspaper, local residents say, "I saw that!" and it
makes me feel glad to be doing this job.

What is the appeal of Masaumi Ryokan (satellite office)?
I think it's the friendly atmosphere.
The people who work here are all around the same age, so we get along well.
Just being a part of the Masaumi Ryokan team creates a sense of camaraderie and closeness. We
see each other often, and there are social gatherings, so working at Masaumi Ryokan is fun.
We often help each other, so I feel like I'm working in a good environment.
Is there anything you focus on or value for self-improvement?
Because I joined the company with no experience, I feel more strongly than most people that I have to work hard!
I study at home outside of work hours and try to make time to absorb as much information as possible.
In addition to surfing the web, I also use YouTube to study.
At most, I study for about three hours a day.
When I'm short on time or busy, I use my commute to watch YouTube and
find time to absorb as much information as possible.
Do you have any strengths or special skills that you use in your work?
I enjoy researching, so I think that comes in handy when I study.
I look into other companies' PR efforts to gather information and learn.
I also enjoy taking photos, so I think that helps me when using them in PR. I
even edit photos taken by others to make them look better.
How do you spend your free time?

I love food, so I often go to Kagawa Prefecture to eat udon.
eating delicious food is the best way to relieve stress.
On my days off, I always go out.
Miyoshi City is easily accessible to other parts of Shikoku, so I go out and relax on my days off, and then
work hard during the weekdays! That's how it goes.
Is there anything I want to do or challenge in the future?
I want to work hard in PR so that more people will know about Genio.
As a result of my PR efforts so far, I've made connections with local newspapers and have been featured often, but I
would like to be featured in other media as well, so I would like to hold events that will serve as material and explore new opportunities.
In my private life, I would like to improve my cooking skills. I
want to be as efficient as possible with my housework and spend the time I save meaningfully.
I would like to expand my cooking repertoire and prepare food in advance, but I am
not yet able to do so, so that is my goal for the future.
Finally
Kojima-san has wonderful goals and the effort he puts into achieving them.
This Persian cat has made me even more interested in Genio, where such wonderful employees work. I
found the "lunch party" system, where all employees eat lunch together every Thursday, very appealing.
I will continue to support him as a PR representative for Genio and Masaumi Ryokan! (^O^)/
Growing every day, moving forward every day.
I have to update myself every day! ! !
Thank you for reading to the end.
