Interview with Mr. Kojima
What made you want to work at your company?
I'm originally from Hyogo Prefecture, and I lived there until I graduated from high school, but I decided to live in Tokushima when I went to university.
I really liked the people of Tokushima and the atmosphere of the town, which made me feel comfortable.
I once went to Tokyo for graduate school, but I still loved Tokushima and decided to live there.
I love Tokushima, so I wanted to do a job where I could interact with the people of Tokushima, and the satellite office appealed to me.
I wanted to work at Genio, which is trying to do something in the community.
What kind of work do you do?
I work in public relations.
I communicate the initiatives of the satellite office and the company, and
have meetings with reporters to get them covered in newspapers and other media.
What do you find attractive and rewarding about your work?
I work in public relations, so I get the word out about the company's initiatives, and
I'm happy when my employees and other people at the company are happy when they're featured in newspapers,
When we get notices posted on our website or featured in local newspapers, people in the area say, ``I saw that!'' and
that's when I feel glad that I'm doing this job.
What is the appeal of Masami Ryokan (satellite office)?
Anyway, I think we're good friends.
The people I work with are close to my age, so we get along very well.
Just because we are friends at Masami Ryokan, there is a sense of camaraderie and a sense of closeness.
I enjoy working at Masami Ryokan, as we often meet face-to-face and have social gatherings.
We often help each other out, so I feel like I'm working in a good environment.
Is there anything you keep in mind or value for personal growth?
Since I joined the company with no experience, I have to work hard! I feel that way more than anyone else.
I study at home outside of work hours and try to have plenty of time for input.
In addition to surfing the internet, I also use YouTube to study.
I usually study for about 3 hours a day.
When I don't have time or am busy,
I try to use my commuting time to stream YouTube so I can have as much time as possible to get some input.
Do you have any strengths or special skills that you can utilize in your work?
I like to research things, so I think that comes in handy when I study.
I research other companies' public relations efforts, acquire information, and study them.
I also like taking photos, so I think I can put them to good use when using them for public relations.
I also edit photos taken by other people to make them look better.
How do you spend your private time?
I love eating, so I often go to Kagawa Prefecture to eat udon.
I feel that eating delicious food is the best way to relieve stress.
I'll go out for the holidays anyway.
Miyoshi City is easily accessible to all parts of Shikoku, so you can go to various places on your holidays to relax and
work hard on weekdays! That's what it feels like.
Is there anything you would like to do or try in the future?
I would like to do my best in public relations so that people can get to know more about Genio.
As a result of my PR efforts so far, I have been able to connect with local newspapers and receive frequent coverage, but
I feel that I would like to be covered by other media as well, so I am holding events that will generate news and developing new business. I want to do it.
In my private life, I would like to hone my cooking skills.
I want to do housework as efficiently as possible and make the most of the time I get from doing it.
I'd like to expand my cooking repertoire and start cooking ahead of time, but
I can't do that right now, so that's a goal for the future.
Finally
Mr. Kojima's goals and efforts toward them are amazing.
As a Persian cat, I am becoming more and more interested in Mr. Genio, who has such a wonderful employee working for him.
I also found the "lunch party" system, where all employees have lunch together every Thursday, to be very appealing.
From now on, we will continue to support Genio-sama as PR and as PR for Masami Ryokan! (^O^)/
Growing every day, moving forward every day.
I have to update myself every day! ! !
Thank you for reading to the end.
