We at Beyond Sauna Club have had many different sauna experiences, but this time we came across the most amazing sauna experience by far.

, we would like to bring you a report on the club activities at SAUNA STATION , which provided us with such an amazing experience

What is Beyond Sauna Club?

Number of members: 14 (as of October 18, 2022)

The club was founded by Morita, a director who loves saunas so much that he visits the sauna dozens of times a month and the Sauna Master Certification B Komuso sauna hats , and Director Koide, whose PC background image reads "I want to go to the sauna ."

Club activities cannot be launched unless they have clear goals (not just to have fun, but to have some kind of sense of purpose)

By the way, the sauna club has the following goals:

We discover high-quality saunas in the Kansai region and regularly publish visit reports

Through the effects of the sauna, all members aim to achieve a state of "totono" (mental stability, improved concentration, and other basic abilities important for work)

So, in order to bring you high-quality saunas from Kansai, we visited SAUNA STATION , a mobile tent sauna shop based in Hyogo Prefecture

What is a tent sauna?

a tent sauna is a sauna in a tent. Inside the heat-resistant tent, aromatic water is poured onto sauna stones heated by a wood stove, and the evaporated heat heats up the inside of the tent (löyly), allowing you to enjoy the sauna experience.

Relaxing in the sauna at a regular hot spring facility is great, but I think the best thing about a tent sauna is that you can relax in the great outdoors

Instead of a cold bath, you can cool down in a cold river. Then, enjoy the open air while feeling the great outdoors. Yes. It's just the best!!

What is SAUNA STATION?

the SAUNA STATION we visited this time is a husband and wife team that runs a tent sauna experience and mobile tent sauna in Inagawa-cho, Kawabe-gun, Hyogo Prefecture, on the border between Hyogo and Osaka. They also rent out tent saunas, which many people use when camping.

The tent sauna experience also comes with the option of BBQ or whisking (a massage using birch leaves performed inside the sauna)

The temperature inside the tent sauna was around 90°C

This time, we visited with 10 people

It looked like it could fit up to 13 people if we sat close together

Water bath temperature

There were two cold baths prepared, one for one person and one for several people

I didn't have a thermometer so this is just my personal impression, but since it was just a simple cold bath, I think it was around 20 degrees

River temperature

Up to two people can lie down and cool down. Since it was July, the river temperature felt a little colder than a cold bath (around 20 degrees)

Also, lying down on the river and watching the natural scenery was very relaxing

Tidy space

There were four in the river and four above the river

Personally, I loved relaxing on a deck chair in the river, with the sunlight filtering through the trees and the pleasant breeze...

Not only can you relax, but you can also enjoy a BBQ in the great outdoors!

This tent sauna offers such an exquisite experience, but SAUNA STATION also offers a plan that includes a BBQ

Impressions and Summary

It was my first time experiencing a tent sauna, and to put it mildly, it was amazing

It was my first time to experience relaxation in the great outdoors, and I was deeply moved by how pleasant it felt

The owner, Mr. Koyama, who is also a heat wave master, also provided the Aufgusstime, where he sent out intense heat waves to the tune of Bon Jovi's It's My Life, which was great entertainment!!
