[New Employee Blog] Becoming Beyond's PR Officer! I've just joined the company, and I'd like to share my honest thoughts about Beyond!

nice to meet you!

My name is Komatsu and I am the new public relations officer for Beyond

We will be posting various information about Beyond in the future, so please look forward to it!

What I felt when I joined Beyond..

I had the impression that it was some kind of cool company in Osaka, and I wasn't wrong. There's a casual dress code (with consideration given to the time, place, and occasion, of course), so I got the impression that there were a variety of different personalities, even just in terms of clothing. Also, there are both people who come to the office and people who work remotely, but I was surprised at how lively communication was, without any sense of a barrier. It was a new experience for me to start a conversation by calling out to someone in the office from the other side of the screen, saying "Mr./Ms. XX!" There were a variety of activities recently, such as a Valentine's Day event and an event for people from the Canadian office, and communication between employees is extremely lively

I was a little nervous about joining the company mid-career, but the atmosphere in the office, with so many people talking to me, was so good that I was moved to tears

Why did you decide to join Beyond?

There are three main reasons why I decided to join Beyond

  1. Speed of response
  2. It's simply an interesting company
  3. Because I felt it was fate

Speed of response

As anyone who has gone through the job hunting process knows, the time spent waiting for a company to contact you about your application status after the initial screening and interview can feel incredibly long. However, with Beyond, I received notification of my acceptance the day after submitting my application and the day after my interview. (For the second interview, it was even on the same day!) I've never encountered a company with suchresponse timeis extremely important in the workplace, and I genuinely felt that I wanted to work with these people. ThisSpeedthat is a core value ofthe speed.

It's simply an interesting company

When I researched Beyond's initiatives and other things, I found a lot of interesting things.an interesting company, I found myself reading their news, announcements, and this blog from cover to cover. When asked in my interview why I chose Beyond, I simply said that it was an interesting company and I was interested in it.

Because I felt it was fate

Beyond's interview process consisted of a document screening and three rounds of interviews. Actually, the day before my first interview, I ate chicken, and unfortunately, I got food poisoning from it, resulting in a high fever and stomach ache. Since it was a remote interview, I thought I could manage it. (I didn't want to be seen as someone who couldn't manage their health and would have to reschedule.) Due to the high fever, stomach ache, and nervousness, I don't really remember what I said during the interview. I was absolutely certain I had failed, so when I received the acceptance letter, I wassurprised and felt it was somehow fateful! (I can laugh about it now.)

lastly

That's right! I love mandarin oranges. Just like these fresh mandarin oranges, I will do my best with a fresh attitude, so I hope you will continue to watch over me kindly

I will continue to learn various things and move forward with a spirit of just giving it a try

We will be releasing various information as a public relations officer, so please keep an eye on Beyond's future developments!
