Our "AWS x AI Experience Internship" held in the summer was so well-received that
we've decided to condense it into two days and hold it again as an autumn internship, making it even easier to participate!
In this internship, you will work in a team to build an AI chatbot using AWS . You will not only use AI, but also gain hands-on experience with the cloud and infrastructure mechanisms necessary for AI to function.
Furthermore, we also offer opportunities to interact with active engineers and tour the company premises

What will I be doing during the fall internship?
This internship will last two days. In addition to company presentations and a tour of the facilities, you will also have the opportunity to actually build an AI chatbot using AWS
Day 1 | Learn about the IT industry and create an AI chatbot!
The first day started with an orientation session in the morning
- Company tour
- Company Description
- An introduction to the IT industry and the work of engineers
Through these activities, we will first address the question, "What is the IT industry like?"
By actually seeing the office where employees work, you will also be able to get a feel for the company's atmosphere.
Then, there will be a lunch get-together with employees! While having lunch with employees who actually work at Beyond, feel free to ask them anything you're curious about, such as "What kind of work do you usually do?" , "What is it like to work as an engineer?", and "What should I do when job hunting?"
The workshop finally begins this afternoon! We 'll use AWS to build an environment on the cloud and create an AI chatbot using Amazon Bedrock as a team. Based on the materials we prepare ourselves, we'll build an AI chatbot that will answer questions.
Day 2 | Let's complete the AI chatbot!
On the second day, we will continue working on building the AI chatbot.
We will actually get hands-on experience with AWS and generative AI.
"It's not working the way I expected!"
"How do I configure this setting?"
You might encounter situations like these.
But don't worry, our staff will support you if you have any questions.
By actually getting your hands dirty, you'll likely discover things like, "So this is how AI works!" and
"So this is what the cloud is all about!"
And finally, it's time to present your results!
You'll share the points you focused on, what you learned through your internship, and more.

Try out AWS and the cloud in practice
We often use AI services without giving it much thought.
However, behind the scenes, various IT technologies such as cloud computing and servers are at work.
In this internship, you will actually build a cloud environment using AWS.
You will be able to experience the "mechanisms that support AI" through hands-on work.
Understanding how generative AI works
I think many people have used generative AI before
But if you were asked,
"Why does the AI answer when I input a question?" or
"Where does that AI run?"
, you might be surprised at how many people don't know the answer.
In this internship, you will gain experience in the mechanisms behind generative AI by building your own AI chatbot
This will help you visualize what an engineer's job entails
Even though we use the single term "engineer," the actual work involved varies greatly
This experience will focus on topics related to infrastructure and server-side engineering.
By actually building an environment using AWS and creating an AI chatbot,
we hope you'll get a closer look at the work of engineers.
