What is internal communication?

Internal communication refers to employees in the same organization sharing opinions and information and communicating with each other. Communication in a company is not just necessary for employees to get along with each other. It is necessary for employees to carry out their work smoothly, and it also plays an important role in employees cooperating with each other and working while improving teamwork.

Furthermore, internal communication helps to share the organization's direction and culture, making it a very important factor in the growth and development of a company

Key points for revitalizing internal communication

- Regardless of department or location, the entire company will work on
this, and it will not be completed by just one person in one department, but will be a company-wide effort that will become established as part of the corporate culture.

- Create opportunities for employees to get to know each other.
Create contact points between employees, get to know each other, and engage in two-way interactions.

- Once you start an initiative that you plan to continue in the long term
, continue with it without giving up right away.

Beyond Initiatives ①

So, what kind of initiatives is Beyond taking to stimulate communication? I would like to introduce two of them

The first one is " greetings ." I apologize to those who think this is not a special initiative at all. It is not a special initiative at all, but I think it is extremely important for revitalizing internal communication.

Before we dive into greetings, let's review Beyond's core values

Beyond's three core values are communication, speed, and hospitality

Of course, all three are important, but the one that Beyond values most "communication .
There are many different types of communication, but at Beyond, we place great importance on greetings

Many people may think that this is a given for working adults, but are you really doing it?

At Beyond, employees greet each other loudly.
To begin with, our CEO, Haraoka, has a very loud and refreshing .

I don't think there are many people who feel uncomfortable when someone greets them. According to CEO Haraoka, greetings are a way of expressing their intention, such as, "I recognize you!"
Greetings are commonplace at Beyond, but I feel this is because it's ingrained in the company culture, rather than something that is forced upon them.

Greetings are a form of communication, and simply being proactive in greeting people will improve the atmosphere throughout the company, and other forms of communication will naturally become easier.
greeting people . It's something you can start doing today, right now, with a little effort.

Beyond Initiatives②

Beyond has an organization called the Organizational Culture Committee

The Organizational Culture Committee was established to improve Beyond's organization, and is responsible for planning and running internal social events

Various events are held for each season, allowing employees to interact with each other. Recently, White Day and cherry blossom viewing events were held. (The photo below is of the White Day event.)

Having opportunities like this for internal interaction allows us to communicate with people we don't usually have much contact with at work. Thank you to everyone on the Organizational Culture Committee!
