Why does Beyond allow freedom in hairstyle?

table of contents
Hello. All storage areas are /tmp.
This is Kawa from the System Solutions Department.
It's 2024. It's easily divisible by 2, so it looks like it's going to be a good year

our internal project, " Hataraku PJ, I would like to introduce
our internal system, " Freedom of Hairstyle and Hair Color Simply put, the Hataraku Project is the name of a group that discusses internal systems and works to create an environment that is easy for employees to work in (please see the blog below for details on our main activities).
[Workstyle Reform] Project team formed! [Diversity & Inclusion]
As previously posted by our company Yoshimoto in the following blog post,
At Beyond, dress code is optional (in summer, bug-catching boy style is OK)
I myself sometimes wear tie-dye T-shirts in the summer, and I think this is quite important when working. Being able to wear the clothes and hairstyle you like has a very positive effect on your mental health (or so I personally feel). Of course, dressing up in a sharp suit is good, but I feel more comfortable working in clothes I like
This time, we'll be focusing on hairstyles, and we interviewed our company representative, Mr. Haraoka, so we'd like to share the details of that interview and introduce the types of hairstyles and hair colors that people actually have in our company!
Why does Beyond allow freedom in hairstyle?
*From here on, the author interviewed the company's representative, Haraoka, and transcribed the content
Q1 Why is hairstyle/hair color now free?

(I see, so the standards have changed little by little.)
(It's true that if you're in the company, you probably won't hear much about Beyond's rules on appearance.)
(*I, as a matter of fact, wasn't even wearing a suit at the interview.)

2) What do you see as the benefits of introducing this system?

(It's nice to be fashionable.)
(I was actually talking about vintage clothing with a colleague the other day, so it just opened up a conversation.)
(I definitely feel like it has a positive effect.)

3) Finally, was there any kind of social message?

(Love and Peace, that's wonderful.)
(We realized that an hour and a half had passed during this interview, even just talking about hair color)
(It was amazing how the conversation expanded to this extent, because without either of us realizing it)
(Rather than talking about hair, the conversation had gone in the direction of "how much respect we have for people")
(I got the impression that clothing and hairstyles ultimately come down to the person themselves. It was really interesting)

Members' hairstyle introduction corner
Now that you've read the interview, we'd like to introduce some of the Beyond members' free-spirited hairstyles!
▼System Solutions Department Kashiwamochi-san

This is Kashiwamochi-san, the head of the System Solutions Department, whose hair has often been red recently.
I also belong to the System Solutions Department, but the head position embodies freedom, so
I feel like the other members get along well.
▼TK from the Canadian office

TK, also from the System Solutions Department, is from the free country of Canada.
I basically have this color image. It always suits me!
▼Lucy from the Web Services Division

You might think she has a perm, but this is actually a slightly afro wig.
She said she's tired of it and wants to get a different wig someday.
▼Shinta from the development department

This is Shinta from the development department at Last Samurai in Yokohama. He looks like a skilled engineer.
▼Hoto (left)

and Gira (right) from the System Solutions Department. When the yellow lights line up, it's a traffic light. The two are famous for frequently changing their colors, and it shows how they enjoy being fashionable with their favorite colors.
Personally, when I see people enjoying themselves freely, it makes me happy too.
