Hello everyone, it's been a while
While the temperature is rising in Toronto and there are more and more fun events happening, it's been two and a half months since I've been debating whether to ask to turn up the temperature because it's so cold inside the office
This is Nishi from the System Solutions Department
This time, I hope to provide you with information that will help you have a fulfilling life when you visit Toronto! (Note that this information contains a lot of my own personal opinions and biases.)
Sign up to a gym
trainee engineers (engineers who do strength training) who secretly carry protein with them at all times , and their influence is gradually expanding, so we would like to share some gym information for these trainee engineers.
I only work out at the gym for the sake of my health, but I have also signed up with a gym in Canada, so I would like to introduce it to you
Among gyms, we recommend those that are like comprehensive facilities, which can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as a weight room, pool, various sports, and sauna

free for a few days at first , so you can sign up before you sign up!
The price is 60 CAD/month, which is about 7,000 yen, which is about the same price as a gym in Japan
As long as you have your ID and credit card, you can easily sign a contract without any complicated procedures!

Generally speaking, foreigners are all cheerful and will talk to you a lot
However, sometimes they will pull mysterious, forced moves even on first-timers, so you need to be a little careful, but generally everyone is a good person

There is also an activity floor, with different sports available depending on the day and time of day!
You can check the schedule and participate in activities that interest you, so it seems like it can be used by a wide range of people

Making effective use of the library
a public library in Toronto , and I've used it several times because the quality is pretty good and it's close to where I'm staying.
seats with free internet and power outlets , and there are also many cafes in the area, so I often drop by in my spare time.

It has an overseas-style design and the space is quite spacious and comfortable, so it's a great place to get some work done or just relax

The photo above shows the nearest library to North York Center Station!
There are many public libraries in the city, so I've included links to them!

Going out on the town on the weekend
Toronto is a city full of diversity, so there are always some kind of international events happening on the weekends, and it seems like it was pretty lively every weekend during the summer
You can just go out on the weekend and see what happens, or you can do some research before you go out! When I do some research before going out, I mainly gather information on Instagram

In the evenings, the park hosts movie screenings, so it's a great place to drop in and relax
