[High Tech] Asia's Silicon Valley Tour in Shenzhen
table of contents
Introduction
My name is Gao Cheng from Beyond Shenzhen and I started having pain not only on my left but also on my right hip.
The other day, Mynet Co., Ltd. , visited Shenzhen, and we gave him a tour of Shenzhen's famous spots under the title Asia's Silicon Valley Tour.
We mainly visited technology-related spots, so this time I would like to introduce you to them!
① Homama Uzuo
The first is a supermarket run by the Alibaba group called Huma Shengsheng .
This is a very convenient supermarket, as you can purchase products online using a dedicated app, and if you are within 5km of the store, you can receive free delivery in as little as 30 minutes (conditions apply).
There were many innovative and interesting systems inside the store, such as a food court where you could have the seafood and meat you bought cooked and eaten as is.
The products lined up in the store are full of private brand products, giving the impression that they have a wide variety of high-quality in-house products, and payment can be completed by scanning a QR code at an unmanned cash register, making it a smart store. You can do some shopping.
② Huayu flag ship store
Next up HUAWEI 's flagship store, located in a shopping mall in Futian District, Shenzhen, called Wansang Tianchi.
There is a wide variety of products such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc., but recently electric cars and smart home appliances have also been sold, and the day of the event was very crowded with customers.
There is also a model room using actual HUAWEI products, where you can experience the convenience and performance of HUAWEI products.
③ DJI Dajiang (Shenzhen Flagship Store)
DJI 's flagship store was quite impressive, giving it a futuristic feel.
Inside the store, there are exhibits about the latest products, as well as product changes and history, allowing you to learn about the process of drone development through DJI products.
Of course, the latest models of drones were also on display, and perhaps because it was my first time seeing a relatively large drone such as the FlyCart30, which has a maximum payload of 30kg, I was quite overwhelmed by its power.
Also, you can actually experience operating a drone, so I think it's a great thing to be able to actually experience the product before purchasing.
④ Huaqiangbei
The last stop is Huaqiangbei Electric Town.
Speaking of Shenzhen, the first thing that comes to mind is Coco Huaqiangbei, an electronics town that is substandard in everything from its size to the number and types of products it sells.
From electronic circuit parts to PC parts, headphones, hair dryers, and even peripherals such as smartphone cases, there is a huge variety of products on sale, and it's hard to find anything you can't find.
After the coronavirus period, the atmosphere of the city seems to have changed quite a bit, and I often hear that the number of stores locally has decreased, but my personal impression is that it has maintained a considerable sense of scale and continues to change. I feel like it is.
There are trends even in products that are sold little by little, and products that were sold in various stores when I came before are now not sold at all, or have been completely changed to different products, so I do not sell them on an irregular basis. One of the charms of Huaqiangbei is that you can visit and enjoy the changes.
