Report on the job offer ceremony for an IT venture (2026)🍁

Hello, this
is Miyoshi from Beyond's recruitment team.

This time, I will write about the job offer ceremony that was held recently on Wednesday, October 1st

In this article, we hope to inform students who are interested in Beyond, people currently job-hunting, and companies who are curious about what other companies' employment ceremonies are like about the type of employment ceremony and social gathering Beyond holds, as well as what the event is like and what the content is like

How many Beyond students have been accepted for the 2026 graduate class?

This year, nine new graduates will join Beyond

For the past few years, we have been hiring around 10 new graduates.
This year, 7 out of 9 new hires are women, so the proportion of female members is gradually increasing.

I'm looking forward to working with you next year!

What did you wear to Beyond's job offer ceremony?

While the employees at Beyond usually dress casually, on this day, for the job offer ceremony, both employees and prospective employees wore suits. Seeing
the Beyond members in their unfamiliar formal attire made them seem a little more poised and serious.

The accepted applicants looked very fresh in their suits, and you could sense their awareness and anticipation of joining the workforce

I, too, wore a jacket for the first time in a while and, feeling a little nervous, took on the role of emcee.
Opportunities to wear a suit are limited, but that's precisely why it was a special day that allowed me to reaffirm the feeling of "a new beginning."

The venue where the job offer ceremony was held

📍Namba Skyo Convention Hall

This year's job offer ceremony was held at the Namba Skyo Convention Hall.
The venue was different from previous years, and it was my first time visiting the location.

The venue is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Beyond Osaka office and is a beautiful location directly connected to Nankai Namba Station. Most
of the employees who attended were assistant managers and above, and the spacious venue allowed for a relaxed start with a comfortable number of attendees.

schedule

Now, let me introduce the schedule for the day.
It was about two and a half hours, including group work. It may seem short, but it was surprisingly packed with content!

Opening remarks

I had the honor of being the master
of ceremonies! This was my third time emceeing an offer ceremony or an induction ceremony, and while I feel like I'm used to it, I still get nervous every time (;^ω^)
Perhaps it's because I feel that it's such an important occasion and a special time for everyone participating.
Personally, it was a good opportunity for me to refocus my efforts.

Message from the CEO

Our CEO, Haraoka, addressed each of the prospective employees by name, delivering a warm message. His speech
conveyed his hope that they would make the most of the time before joining the company, and it was a powerful encouragement for everyone taking their first steps as working professionals.

Award of job offer

All the successful applicants came forward and Haraoka presented them with their job offer certificates

Actually, I was in charge of preparing these letters of acceptance, and these new hires are the first people I've ever been involved with in new graduate recruitment and selection. It
made me very happy to see these special new hires receive their letters.

Greetings from new recruits

After the presentation of the letters of acceptance, the prospective employees were asked to come forward and introduce themselves and share their aspirations for the future.
As they talked about their hobbies and what they focused on during their student years, they delivered unique speeches interspersed with humor that made everyone chuckle, creating a relaxed atmosphere in the venue.
It was very interesting to catch a glimpse of everyone's true selves and personalities.

Closing remarks

Closing remarks from Director Morita

I sent a message from Canada via Zoom.
Despite the time difference, Morita's message, delivered online, conveyed his feelings clearly, even though we couldn't meet in person.

Group work

After the job offer ceremony, we took a short break, then divided into three teams, each comprised of prospective employees and current staff, to participate in two types of workshops.
The aim was to help everyone get to know each other better and deepen the interaction between Beyond members and prospective employees.

This year's program"We are [Name]!"and"App Planning for Generation Z."consisted of two parts

"We are ○○!", teams learn about each other by finding three common characteristics.
"App Planning for Generation Z," groups brainstormed ideas on familiar issues and engaged in lively discussions!

Participants were given small gifts of sweets, and the event was filled with a friendly atmosphere from start to finish

This workshop was planned and run primarily by employees graduating in 2024 and 2025.
We are grateful to everyone who dedicated time to preparation and provided careful support for our prospective employees!

At the end, we took a group photo

Beyond's social gathering

Following the job offer ceremony, we held a social gathering.
It was a casual setting where we could enjoy delicious food and drinks, and where conversations with employees naturally arose.

This is a valuable opportunity for prospective employees to get to know each other before joining the company, and it's also a good time for employees to have relaxed conversations. We
made sure to include several opportunities to change seats so that everyone could talk to different employees.

I hope there will be lots of laughter and everyone will have a great time...!

Now that you have plenty of time, we hope that all of you who have received job offers will go wherever you want to go and meet whoever you want to meet, and make the most of the rest of your student life.
Everyone at Beyond is looking forward to seeing you all again in the spring!

Currently, Beyond is planning a recruitment event for 2027 graduates: an "Escape Game-Style Company Information Session x Engineer Roundtable Discussion."
Unlike our usual company information sessions, this event will allow you to learn about our company culture and atmosphere through an "experience."
We look forward to your application!

[For 2027 Graduates] It's not just an information session! Mystery solving x Engineer roundtable discussion
