A new year has begun. Time really does fly by, doesn't it?
While I know that nothing stays the same—not just cities, not just people—I feel a little sad about the changes, but at the same time, I want to enjoy them. I
've been feeling this way every year for the past few years.
It truly evokes the feeling of impermanence.

Now, let's get down to business.
With the recruitment season just around the corner, I'd like to take this opportunity to reintroduce you to Beyond's work environment and systems.

What kind of environment do Beyond employees work in?

I think the atmosphere can be conveyed more easily through photos than through words, so I've picked out a few

Designed with the concept of "an office you want to come to," it boasts a sophisticated design and an attractive space.
I particularly like the open space and the atmosphere of the window seats.
The office uses a free-address system, allowing employees to choose their seat freely depending on their mood or the type of work they are doing that day.

During individual breaks, some people play games or drink coffee, so you can relax =^_^=

About our internal systems

Flexibility in work styles

• Flexible working hours (arrive in between 9:00 and 12:00. Core time: 12:00 to 18:00)
• Work from home (hybrid type)
• Workation
• Freedom of hair color, hairstyle, piercings, nails, and clothing.

We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid model combining office work and remote work. I think this allows people
to find a work style that suits them to some extent, whether they have a family, can concentrate better alone, can concentrate better with others, live far from the office, or have pets. I feel
very grateful for the freedom to choose, and it makes me feel
like I have a little more breathing room in my life.

Hair color, hairstyle, piercings, nail polish, and clothing are all unrestricted.
Of course, appropriate attire for the occasion is important, but basically, everyone comes to work wearing what they feel comfortable in and what they want to wear.

Skill Improvement

The qualification acquisition incentive system provides you with payment for exam dates for IT and English-related qualifications, and you can also receive a subsidy if you pass

The training program in Canada is limited to infrastructure engineers, and one engineer will stay at the Canadian office for three months on a rotating basis.
It is a small-group opportunity to experience overseas operational methods and work styles.

And regarding the IT blog writing allowance, I also receive an allowance for each article I write for this blog.
I think many engineers write technical blogs, and writing a blog allows you to output your knowledge and skills.

The siesta system is essentially a midday nap.
Taking a short nap when you feel sleepy in the afternoon helps clear your head and allows you to switch gears and get back to work.

The early leave system for special occasions allows you to leave work a little early on family birthdays or anniversaries with your significant other. You
can take this up to four times a year, and your workday will be reduced to six hours (this system is also available to those without family or a significant other).

If both December 24th and 25th fall on weekdays, you can choose to take one of them off for Christmas!

I'd love to take a refresh leave someday. It's a system where employees who have worked for five years are granted two weeks of special leave and a bonus.
There are also long-term vacations, but the special leave is longer, so I'd love to use it to go somewhere really far away.

This opportunity is limited to our domestic offices (Osaka, Yokohama, and Shikoku), but you can work at another location for one week.
Working in a different place than usual can be a refreshing change of pace, and it also allows you to interact with members from other locations who you don't usually see.

Commuting allowances are paid up to a maximum of 30,000 yen per month

Neighborhood allowances are paid if you live within two stations of the company (even though I don't live within two stations)

Family allowances are paid to spouses of 5,000 yen and children of 3,000 yen

Duty allowance is only available to infrastructure engineers and is paid when they are on duty shift

It's been six months since I joined Beyond, and I'm grateful for the extremely comfortable working environment.
