I was in charge of building, operating and maintaining the server and network environment for the website for public boat racing
The website content is divided into content that can be viewed by the general public and content that can be viewed by related parties, and the content for related parties can only be viewed within each boat racing venue
This meant that content for stakeholders had to be shared over a closed VPN infrastructure at each location, but traditional VPNs had the following concerns:
- Labor costs for setting up routers and switches at each location
- Lack of personnel capable of managing the network at each location
- Labor costs for managing the network after it is operational, etc.
