One of the association's flagship activities is hosting a migration competition.
This is a competition to showcase operational skills, aimed at fostering young infrastructure engineers.
While various hackathons are held throughout the country for program development,
events aimed at networking and technical exchange among infrastructure engineers are extremely valuable.

Migration Competition 2017 Overview

The theme this time is

We are migrating a certain e-commerce site

Topic: I want to migrate the current system to a new environment

[Requests]
I would like the current environment to be completely migrated to the new environment.
I would like a report on the actions taken and the results.
When the system is shut down, users need to be notified, so please contact me.
It is an old environment that has been used for a long time, so I would like it to be upgraded.
If possible, I would like the switch to be done in a way that does not affect users. If possible,
it would be helpful to have documentation regarding the server.
If possible, I would like to be able to take backups as there are currently no backups at all.
If possible, I would like the system to be made redundant as the number of users will increase in the future.
If possible, it would be helpful to have all the necessary information compiled so that I can hand over to a new infrastructure engineer.

[Comment from the person in charge]
Due to various organizational changes, we no longer have anyone who understands the system.
We've been using it for quite some time, so I think this is a good time to refresh it.
Our business on the site continues, so I hope we can minimize the impact on our users.
Oh, and a new infrastructure engineer is scheduled to join us soon, so I hope we can hand it over to them. I
'd actually like to do a lot of modern things to make it even better.
