Participated in recruitment activities of Japan MSP Association in Shinshu University
This is Kai Fujisawa from public relations.
I participated in the recruitment activities of the Japan MSP Association held on Monday, July 9th
The Japan MSP Association is an organization that engages in activities such as improving operational technology for IT infrastructure such as servers, and discovering and training human resources.
In order to spread the word that MSP = ``the job of ensuring that servers operate properly,'' companies that belong to the MSP Association visit schools and hold lectures.
This time, I visited Shinshu University in Nagano Prefecture. My first business trip in my life, my first time in Nagano.
It's a somewhat stylish station.
I got carried away, ate two bowls of soba, and headed to Shinshu University.
The campus is large. I continued wandering until I reached the waiting room.
We safely arrived at the waiting room and began preparing the novelty items.
After explaining the flow of the day, let's go to the classroom where the students were.
For me, a high school graduate, being in a large university classroom was new and a bit exciting.
First, Mr. Ise from Sakura Internet Co., Ltd. will give an easy-to-understand talk about the appeal of being an infrastructure engineer. I learned a lot myself by coming to talk.
And company explanations from each participating company.
Mr. Yuki, Sky Arch Networks Co., Ltd.
Sakura Internet Co., Ltd. Mr. Kawamura
Heartbeats Co., Ltd. Mr. Isozaki
Mr. Imai of Xtrans Co., Ltd.
Beyond Co., Ltd. Fujisawa
I used pictures to explain how infrastructure engineers actually operate the system.
Maybe because I wasn't used to speaking, I couldn't catch my breath properly.
Clara Online Co., Ltd. Mr. Muramoto
Serac Co., Ltd. Azuma
After the lecture, we had the opportunity to talk to the students at a social gathering and deepen our relationships with them.
The students are all so strong, and I just feel like I need to be strong as well.
Visiting the school gave me a good opportunity to think about what it is like to be an infrastructure engineer.
Your work may not be public, but it may be difficult to evaluate because it is a low-key job.
However, servers are absolutely necessary and indispensable for the Internet.
I would like to continue to spread the appeal of MSP throughout the country so that the population of infrastructure engineers does not die out.
