[21 graduates] Holding a company information session! Linux trial session also available
This is Fujisawa from public relations and recruitment.
From February 2020, we are holding company information sessions for 21 graduates
▲Nakauchi from the Technical Sales Department talks about our corporate philosophy
- What does Beyond do?
- What is a server?
- What are operation and maintenance, design and construction, load testing, and relocation?
- A story from a young engineer: “Things you should know before joining the company”
- Let's try Linux commands
With the content, everyone was able to experience everything from ``server basics'' necessary for infrastructure engineers to ``actually using commands.''
▲ The first greeting was held online as representative Haraoka was on a business trip to Canada.
Since it would have been cramped in a conference room, we gathered in the break room, and the event was held in a relaxed atmosphere from beginning to end.
One participant said, ``Everyone wears suits at other companies' company information sessions, so there's nothing like this'' (lol)
In order to give you an idea of the atmosphere of Beyond, we are doing it in the same atmosphere as usual.
▲ In the first half, Fujisawa explained ``What is cloud/server related work?''
I think most people say, ``I've heard something about infrastructure engineers, but I don't really understand them.'' I am also a non-engineer, so I have no work experience.
So, how can I convey to students the work of infrastructure engineers, who are active in the company every day? I am thinking about this as I speak.
I am extremely happy when students who listen to my explanations say, ``It was easy to understand.''
▲ I got bored just listening to explanations, so I asked them to try out Linux commands.
In the second half, we gave each person a PC and Linux commands and actually typed them in.
▲ Miyazaki, a third-year infrastructure engineer who will become team leader from April
Young engineers served as instructors, and the students learned about ``What is Linux?'' and ``Types of Commands.''
I hope that by typing in the commands, you can get an idea of what kind of screens infrastructure engineers usually see and how they move.
[Voices from participants]
I was able to learn about the company's position, how frequently company events are held, and the company culture.
By actually teaching me Linux in detail, I was able to understand what an infrastructure engineer is like.
Thank you very much for your kind words! !
It is my hope that you were able to get a feel for the atmosphere of BEYOND, and that you became interested in the work of an infrastructure engineer. Thank you very much to everyone who participated!
We also do individual interviews!
If you are interested in the IT industry but don't know what kind of jobs are available, why not learn about infrastructure engineers?
