About Square Overview and Features

When it comes to e-commerce sites, "Shopify" is becoming popular in Japan, but

credit card payments, POS cash register functions, online shop creation, and more. It has all the functions necessary to run an online shop business. *By the way, the founder of Square is the same as the founder of Twitter.

Steps to create an e-commerce site with Square

This is Square's admin screen (dashboard).
The design is easy to understand and operate, even for those who are not familiar with the system.

Clicking on the "Online Business" section at the bottom left of the capture will take you to the online shop creation page.

To create and publish an online shop, just configure the settings in the red frame above. Shop information and product registration can also be operated intuitively.
Additionally, the domain published on your online shop can be a Square subdomain or your own domain (you can also bring your own).

<Bonus> How to issue a linked payment code

Actually, Square also has a linked credit card payment function.
Using this feature, you can share products with others via email or SNS, buy and sell products, and receive fees without creating an online shop.

Click on the "Online Checkout" section at the bottom left of the captcha to generate a linked payment code.

Register the product name, price, image, etc. and click "Create link".

This is the only way to issue a linked payment code.
All you have to do is share the link (URL) via email or SNS with the people you want to buy the product from.

By the way, the input screen for the purchaser of the product is as shown above.
The purchaser completes the purchase and payment by entering the purchaser's information and card information.
