[Send-off party report] Director Morita leaves for Canada [Long-term overseas business trip]

Hello.
This is Goto from the Web Services Division.

Last month, our director, Morita, left for Canada

Although he is scheduled to return to Japan at some point, there is no set deadline and it is possible that the business trip will last for several years, so a send-off party was held

This time we will bring you the whole story of Morita's send-off party!

What kind of people participated?

where Morita serves as CEOof 8x9 (Hack),Otafuku Lab, where he serves as a director, and even partners and people Morita has personal connections with.

Furthermore, send-off parties were held not only in Kansai but also in Tokyo, and I was once again surprised at how widely Morita knows people

By the way, when Morita goes to a hot spring, he immediately makes friends there, and there are also stories such as, "At an in-house dinner party, Morita happened to arrive early, and by the time the other members arrived, Morita was already chatting amicably with the people who happened to be there."

I alsothe sauna club, and from what I've heard, these kinds of stories are endless.

October 18th Tokyo venue (Microsoft)

A send-off party was held in Tokyo, with the venue provided by Microsoft

At this point, my reaction is, "Huh? Why? Is that alright?" But I suppose various circumstances led to this situation.
(Thank you very much.)

Now, we will bring you some footage from the send-off party held at the Tokyo venue

(The photos posted here were shared by members who attended the send-off party in Tokyo.)

I wasn't at the send-off party in Tokyo so I don't know much about it, but Beyond CEO Haraoka seemed to be talking about something with amusement

Microsoft is helping us send Morita off

(The person in this photo is a partner who has been very helpful to us.)

There was also a greeting from Morita

Oh, what a moment this is

But given the context, I think it was probably the moment when I heard a moving story

Oh, there was another one

Ah, I know that kind of camerawork

It's like a close-up on the eyes at a moment when the tears are coming

It must have been a wonderful time

Osaka venue on October 21st

Next, we will bring you the latest news from Osaka

I participated as a photographer at the Osaka venue

Quite a lot of people came

This is a toast led by Morita

Morita goes around to various seats to greet people

Many people from Beyond also participated

It's lively

We had a really wide variety of people come

Many wonderful gifts..

The send-off party was finally coming to an end, and many people presented Morita with gifts

Morita is having a serious conversation while wearing the gift he received (earmuffs)

Finally, Morita received a present from Haraoka, who founded the company with him

Haraoka looked sad and said, "Since we started the company, there has never been a time in the decades since I started without Morita nearby."

You two seem to get along well

To everyone who came

This is my perspective on the Morita send-off party, with some photos included

Thank you very much to everyone who came and sent messages

We look forward to your continued support of Beyond!
