What is Apsara Conference?

Apsara Conference is a technology conference hosted by China's Alibaba Cloud that focuses on the latest technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analysis, and IoT, and is the most important event in the cloud computing industry. It is recognized as one of the world's leading cloud computing systems and has made a major contribution to the spread and development of cloud computing.

The Apsara Conference attracts tens of thousands of attendees from around the world, including industry leaders, technology experts, and corporate decision makers. With hundreds of sessions on the latest technology trends and innovations, attendees can learn the latest in the industry and network with each other.

The Apsara Conference program mainly consists of the following three sections.

Day 1: Apsara Conference

On the first day, I participated in the Apsara Conference event.

The road has been closed and completely pedestrianized for the visitors of this Apsara Conference. By the way, this area was developed by the Alibaba Group, and there is also something called Alibaba Road.

By the way, when the Chinese subsidiary of a major Japanese cosmetics company first expanded into China, it often contracted out work for the Japanese headquarters, but now localization is progressing in China and the business has been successful. It is said that they are doing so.

I came to the Alibaba Cloud solution exhibition hall. It was a trade show for Chinese vendors that provide services using Alibaba Cloud solutions.

The exhibition hall is so crowded that it is impossible to move forward.

This is the booth of Ant Group, which is famous for Alipay. It was a very large booth.

Is it something like a photo booth that uses AI to generate images?

There was also a corner to experience self-driving cars that incorporate Alibaba Cloud's AI.

There was a sample server machine actually used in Alibaba Cloud services. His Alibaba Cloud server machine was developed in-house and is also equipped with a proprietary chip.

Day 2: Japan team special tour

On the second day, we toured campuses operated by Alibaba Cloud and the Alibaba Group with people from Japanese companies expanding into China.

It's a fairly large area.

Around this time, China's largest e-commerce shopping event, Singles' Day (Double Eleven), was about to take place, so staff members were preparing for the event on the premises.

The entire area of ​​Hangzhou that we visited was developed by Alibaba Group, including apartments, hotels, university campuses, roads, etc., and we were able to experience Alibaba's influence in Hangzhou.

In particular, the exhibition booth had the impression that many AI (artificial intelligence) and serverless solutions were on display.

Participating in Apsara Conference was an event that gave me hints about the future of the IT industry and ideas for future business.
