table of contents
Hello! This is Fujii from the sales department
We will be providing useful tips on how to use Google Workspace Beyond's internal business tool,
This time, we will be introducing how to use Google Workspace - intermediate level
For an overview of Google Workspace , please see the beginner's guide
So, this time we will introduce how to use the tool!
Google Meet
It is a tool that allows you to hold online meetings
Basic features include screen sharing, recording, real-time subtitles, and breakout rooms (for dividing participants into small groups for sessions)
It can be used not only for internal and external meetings, but also for webinars and online training
Online training
If you want to film a training video for your company, you can use Google Meet's recording function to show the speaker while showing materials
You can easily record using the camera built into your PC, so there is no need to purchase a separate camera
The recording will be saved on the organizer's Google Drive
If you save it in a shared folder within your company, you can view it at any time as training material
questionnaire
You can take surveys while connected to Google Meet
For example, if you want to conduct a survey on which proposal to adopt, you can create a survey during the meeting and compile the results
To create a survey, click the red button at the bottom right of the screen

Next, click Survey

The survey creation screen will appear, so enter the question and options

Click Save and Publish to make it available to members in Google Meet
You can also choose to "Show results to everyone" or "Show anonymously," so you can use it according to the situation
Once responses are received, the results will be compiled into a spreadsheet and emailed to the meeting organizer
chat
You can use real-time messaging, file sharing, group chat, bot integration, and more
Create a space to keep your team updated and collaborate on projects
You can send messages, share files, and assign tasks within a space, so we recommend creating a space for each project and managing them there

You can add project-related data to the shared file
There's no need to open Google Drive, and you can check data immediately while chatting, which saves time

You can also manage tasks by creating a to-do list within the chat
You can also assign tasks to members and see who is in charge at a glance

Form
the beginner's section , we explained how to manage shifts in conjunction with a calendar.
This time, we will explain how to create a survey form
When you first open the form, you will see a screen like this

If you want to create your own form, select "Blank Form"
There are several templates available, so try to find one that is easy to use

Next, we will create the form
①Enter title
②Enter a description if necessary
③Enter the question and options, and click the radio button to select the answer options for the survey form
There are several types of selections as follows:
・Radio buttons: Select one

- Checkboxes: Multiple selection

・Pulldown: Select from the dropdown

・Multiple choice (grid): Select one item from each item

・Checkboxes (grid): When selecting multiple items

Once created, press Send

Next, choose how you want to share it
If you are sharing by email, if your company uses Google Workspace and the recipient is someone from your company, you only need to enter the name
If you are not working, enter your email address

Once you answer, it will be automatically tallied

Clicking on "Show in spreadsheet" in the upper right corner will display the aggregated results in the spreadsheet

Once you create a survey form, it will automatically compile the data, so you will save a lot of time by not having to compile it yourself
Please try it out
