[Game companies] Top 20 in sales per person
My name is Shinji Nakauchi from the Technical Sales Department.
Last time, I wrote the number of employees, average age, average years of service, and average annual income of listed game companies in a ranking format, but this time I will write the sales per employee in a ranking format! !
Previous article ⇒ Ranking of game companies in 4 categories What is the average annual income of that company...
In descending order of sales per person
* Annual figures are based on each company's most recent securities report.
Simply put, sales are the sales a company generates from its core business. This is the most basic indicator for measuring a company's performance.
Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Konami, Sega Sammy, Koei Tecmo, etc. are companies that you would think of as game companies, but since they are holding companies, I excluded them this time.
There are 9 companies with more than 100 million yen per person In particular, I find it amazing that Nintendo and DeNA, which have over 1,000 employees, have joined the company.
We have this many employees, and each one of them maintains high performance.
(It's just an average...)
Akatsuki's breakthrough
Another thing that I personally noticed is that Akatsuki, which was just listed in March of this year, ranked 11th.
The fact that we won multiple titles such as ``Thousand Memories'' and ``Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle'' (in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment) may also be a factor.
However, although we are very close to exceeding 100 million yen, we will enter a phase of investment in AR, VR, new businesses, etc., so it is likely to drop a little this fiscal year.

lastly
It's incredible that sales per person exceed 100 million.
Incidentally, not only game companies, but all companies (excluding holding companies), the company with the highest per capita sales in Japan is 1.6 billion yen per capita. I don't understand it anymore.
Although it's not listed on the stock market, I think Deragame Co., Ltd. (the company that made Monster Strike) is amazing. Personally, I think the Tomen Device easily surpasses it.
Looks like things are going well!
