[Game Companies] Top 20 in Sales Per Person

table of contents
My name is Nakauchi Ana Shinji from the Technical Sales Department
Last time, we ranked the number of employees, average age, average years of service, and average annual salary of listed game companies, but this time we'll be ranking sales per employee!!
Previous article ⇒ Ranking of game companies in 4 categories What is the average annual salary at that company?
Highest sales per person

*These are annual figures from each company's most recent securities report
Simply put, sales revenue is the amount of revenue a company makes from its core business. It is the most basic indicator of a company's performance
Square Enix, Bandai Namco, Konami, Sega Sammy, Koei Tecmo, and others are companies that come to mind when you think of game companies, but because they are holding companies, we have excluded them this time
annual sales per employee exceeding 100 million yen . Among them, I think it is impressive that Nintendo and DeNA, with over 1,000 employees, are included.
This means that with so many employees, each and every one of them is maintaining high performance.
(Although this is only an average...)
Akatsuki's Rise
Another company that caught my eye was Akatsuki, which just went public in March of this year, ranking 11th
Another factor may be the success of multiple titles such as "Thousand Memories" and "Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle" (collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment)
However, although it is close to surpassing the billion yen mark, it is likely to decline slightly this fiscal year as the company will be entering a phase of investment in AR, VR, new businesses, etc

lastly
It's incredible that sales per person exceed 100 million yen
Incidentally, not just among game companies but among all companies (excluding holding companies), the company with the highest sales per person in Japan is Tomen Devices, with 1.6 billion yen per person. I just can't understand it
Although it's not listed on the stock exchange, I think Deragame Co., Ltd. (the company that made Monster Strike) is amazing. Personally, I think it easily surpasses Tomen Devices
Enjoy the rest!
