The other day, when I tried to view Google Calendar (app version) on my iPhone, Ia "Device Policy Violation Notice" andhad a lot of trouble. I searched and looked into various options, but I couldn't find any articles with a suitable solution...
Just when I was about to give up, I tried logging in again, just in case, and the problem was solved quite easily, so I would like to write down the solution here for anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation
The dreaded "Device Policy Violation Notice" that suddenly appeared

It was around last week, I think. As usual, when I opened the Google Calendar app on my iPhone to check my schedule while I was out, I saw"Notification regarding a device policy violation."a message that said,
{Huh? What is this...?
The account I was trying to check my schedule on was a G Suite account, so I panicked, wondering if I had done something wrong. "Is it a violation? Is it a violation of policy? Is it something like unauthorized access?"
Try searching for "Device policy violation notice"
I searched for "notice regarding device policy violation" and looked at various articles, and found several that said things like, "I logged in as a G Suite administrator, had the device deleted through device management, and then logged in again, and it seemed to be fixed."
Moreover, this seems to be a common phenomenon with G Suite
For now, I tried deleting the iPhone login from G Suite device management under G Suite management and logging in again

It was impossible after all
If you look closely, you'll notice it says "passcode."
I had given up, thinking, "Oh well, never mind," but if I can't install the Google Calendar app because it violates device policy, then naturally I can't check my Gmail either
This is really inconvenient... I tried logging in again, but it still didn't work..
It doesn't work even if I close the app or power cycle the iPhone
I read the error again and finally realized what it was

you need to set a passcodeIt says
Speaking of which, I use an iPhone X, and a few days ago the Face ID authentication broke, so I turned off the passcode because it was a hassle to have to enter the passcode every time I opened my iPhone
Try turning your iPhone passcode back on
It seems too clever to turn off the passcode and not be able to access my G Suite account... I was skeptical and wondered if such a thing was even possible, so I decided to reset the passcode on my iPhone

Go to [Settings ≫ Face ID & Passcode] and set it to [Turn Passcode On]

After setting the passcode, log in again
Once you've set the passcode, open Google Calendar..

The calendar icon was flipping along just like usual! I was so impressed! And of course, I was able to confirm that I was logged in to Gmail too!!
As you said, it seems the problem was with the passcode
summary
The reason I didn't immediately realize that I couldn't log in because I turned off the passcode was because
① This message didn't appear immediately even after I turned off my iPhone passcode.
② I hadn't been closing apps on my iPhone every day, and when I closed them and restarted it on a whim, Google Calendar wouldn't show up, which made me panic.
③ I hadn't properly read the message that appeared ("You need to set a passcode").
④ I couldn't find a solution article for a long time. ⑤
I never thought that a setting on my iPhone could prevent me from logging into my Google account. ⑥ I
underestimated the intelligence of G Suite.
But that's the main reason
The error message is very helpful, so I'll have to read it carefully from now on. Also, never assume anything
This will allow me to continue enjoying a comfortable G Suite life
