Nintendo
It's a blast!
Nintendo Switch is doing quite well. The Nintendo Switch has been sued for patent infringement, but there will be no problem at all.
Sales of each.

- ARMS: 1.18 million pieces
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 1.16 million units (total sales: 3.92 million units)

Sales from Nintendo Switch packaged software and downloadable content are growing steadily, with total download sales reaching 11 billion yen (41% increase compared to the same period last year)
■Smart device business
“Super Mario Run” and “Fire Emblem Heroes” are doing well, and sales from smart devices and IP-related revenue are 9 billion yen (450% increase compared to the same period last year)
Splatoon 2 will be released in 2Q (July-September), and it looks like things will pick up for a while due to the influence of Nintendo Switch.
The stock price has also risen considerably since March 3, when the Nintendo Switch was released. It looks like it will continue to rise!
Akatsuki
I have been keeping an eye on Akatsuki, and the momentum it has gained since going public has been incredible.
(I feel like I say this every time)
Our own title ``Thousand Memories'' has become a popular app with 10.61 million downloads (as of the end of June 2017), and collaborative projects are becoming a hit across the board.
- Tales of Link: 2.3 million downloads (co-development project with Bandai Namco Studios)
- Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle: 180 million DLs (in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment)
``August Cinderella Nine'', whose release had been postponed, was released on June 27th and achieved 400,000 downloads in 3 days.
It was listed on March 17, 2016, with an initial price of 1,775 yen.
As of August 17, 2017, it was 10,540 yen, which is an increase rate of 594%.
The market capitalization is 143.362 billion yen.
I had actually previously predicted that Akatsuki's market capitalization would be over 100 billion. In the article below! !
Game company market capitalization ranking (as of February 20, 2017)
But I didn't expect it to come so fast.
DeNA
segment | sales revenue | Segment profit/loss |
---|---|---|
game business | 24,294 million yen | 7,349 million yen |
EC business | 3,954 million yen | -534 million yen |
sports business | 6.32 billion yen | 2,247 million yen |
New business/other | 2,112 million yen | -1.368 billion yen |
In the sports business, Yokohama DeNA BayStars' attendance reached a record high after the first half of the game.
In addition to the attendance, the original brewed beer seems to be selling well.
Construction on the Yokohama Stadium renovation is also being prepared to begin at the end of this season.
Nothing but good things have happened to BayStars since DeNA became its parent company.
The team, which was running a deficit of 3 billion a year, is now in the black.

Sales and operating income by segment are as follows.
segment | Sales | Operating income |
---|---|---|
media business | 18.81 billion yen | -14,423 million yen |
game business | 103,968 million yen | 21.266 billion yen |
Internet advertising business | 152,421 million yen | 14,175 million yen |
Investment education business | 1.775 billion yen | 694 million yen |
Other business | 9,387 million yen | 1,249 million yen |
The game business is amazing. Operating income is the highest in the segment, surpassing our main business, Internet advertising.
The operating loss in the media business is large, but this is because we are strengthening our investment in AmebaTV in fiscal 2017, which is an investment period for AmebaTV.
If AbemaTV succeeds in monetizing it, it will be scary.
As a side note, I have stopped watching terrestrial TV recently, only using Prime Video and AbemaTV.
I'm already thinking that I should use a monitor instead of a TV.
Please excuse me this time.
