[Company Networking Event] We held a drinking party for people in their 20s!

We are now in the last year of the Heisei era, how are you all doing?

The other day (actually it was December 21st of last year...), we held an internal networking event

Internal company networking events are usually held around a set theme, and this time it's a "drinking party for people in their 20s"!

In fact, this is the second time the "20s Drinking Party" has been held in a year

What is an internal networking event?

Some of you may be wondering what an "internal networking event" is in the first place

The "internal social gathering" is a system created to deepen interactions between members.
What's more, it's a very convenient system in which a budget of up to 4,000 yen is provided per person if three or more people gather.
Each time, a theme (bowling tournament, mahjong tournament, etc.) is decided and people are invited to attend, and the event can be held if enough people gather.

The restaurant is a long-established okonomiyaki restaurant near the company

As soon as I arrived, I was playing a game straight away (lol).
And Mega Man for the Game Boy Advance is a bit old-fashioned (lol).
But, since it's just the young guys, I can play without any hesitation.

We mainly talked about work,
the current state of our teams, worries that only people close in age can talk about, and other things that can only be discussed here.

Also, we had planned to take a group photo, but we were all drunk and completely forgot to take one (lol), so sorry about that

By the way, we also had an after-party! This was at our own expense

At the after-party, we had a great time talking about our personal lives

Last time there were seven people, but since two new people have joined the company, there were nine people this time

It's nice to have more friends of a similar age to me

It was also great that we were all able to share things that we could only talk about in this kind of setting, as well as our private worries

There are some things that are hard to talk about openly when your boss is around (laughs)

I'm definitely going to hold it again this year
