Megaport is a Network as a Service (NaaS) offering SD-WAN gateways, virtual routers, and integrated transit gateways. Using Megaport's global network, you can build a private point-to-point network environment between any location or cloud service provider (CSP)

Megaport Features

● Megaport (physical port)

A high-speed Ethernet interface (1Gbps / 10Gbps / 100Gbps) for connecting to the Megaport network allows you to easily connect to data centers and cloud services around the world using Megaport as an entry point

● Virtual Cross Connect (VXC)

This virtual Ethernet circuit instantly connects Megaport to cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, point-to-point. It can be used as a backbone network or backup network for corporate WANs to connect between Megaports

● MCR (Megaport Cloud Router)
A virtual router used within the Megaport network. By using MCR, you can instantly build a multi-cloud environment without arranging or purchasing colocation services or network equipment.
