[Stable Diffusion] Using the popular image generation AI, we asked Van Gogh to draw a hamster

Hello.
I'm Kawa from the System Solutions Department and I've been suffering from back pain lately.
Happy New Year. It's 2023
You may have felt this way, but looking back, 2022
seems like a year in which a lot of new technologies were released.
AI technology in particular has evolved so much without us even realizing it.
It's a bit scary, as it makes you wonder if we'll no longer need workers.
So, I decided to learn about AI technology so that I could be on the side of using it rather than being used by it
This thumbnail image for the Beyond Blog list was
actually generated by AI.
Space hamster, space hamster.

Using an image generation AI called
Stable Diffusion which was released around summer and became a hot topic I was able to create a space ham surprisingly easily. The power of science
is amazing!
If a master painter drew a hamster
A while ago, the "What if Van Gogh painted biker gangs?" series was a big hit, but
this time I'd like to try painting a hamster.
"A painting of a hamster in Van Gogh style"

Van Gogh.
It has a "Starry Night" vibe.
"An impressionistic painting of a hamster in Monet styleMonet

. It has a nice impressionist feel to it.By
the way, the top painting of this article is also by Monet, but in that version the word "impressionism" is removed.
A picture of a hamster in Hokusai style

by Katsushika Hokusai.
It gives off a Japanese feel.
"A painting of a hamster in the style of Piccasso's Guernica"

The last one is by Picasso.
It has a Guernica feel to it.
So, how do you do it?
If you look into it in more detail, you'll find many different methods, but this time I'm using an Ubuntu environment that fully utilizes the CPU rather than the GPU.
Since I use a model based on training data for generation, I used
Hugging Face (It has a generous license that allows commercial use as long as the content is not malicious or harmful to others.)
Prompt Tips
To output the image you want, you need to devise a prompt sentence
For example, the hamster below (??),

This is an image output by
"space hamster" it often ends up creating something that doesn't resemble a hamster, and the result is not what you intended.
So, if you want to express a hamster in space,
it might be a little better to use
"a hamster in space" (It's easier to understand if you imagine the "Who is doing what where" game you used to play.)
Other terms you can use to make the image more concrete include
or "in the style of Van Gogh,
" "a painting of,"
"a photograph of,"
"abstruct."
Example:
"a painting of Tokyo Sky Tree in Renoir style"

"a painting of Tokyo Sky Tree in Van Gogh style"

Give it a try!
