This time, I would like to talk about a public relations study group I recently attended, including the meaning of applying what I learned to myself and putting it into practice

One day, the CEO suddenly asked me if I wanted to participate in a PR study session, and I decided to participate this time. The study session was held as an event for the Kansai Revitalization Project

What kind of study session?

The term "recruitment public relations" is one I hear often, and it is something I am conscious of on a daily basis, but this was the first time I learned about recruitment narrow notices

Recruitment information refers to creating content aimed only at people who know about your company and candidates (personas) who are likely to be interested in your company in the future, in order to encourage a change in attitude. (Attitude change = getting people to apply)

I think this is by far the most commonly recognized and acknowledged part. (In fact, I was one of them.) Creating content that addresses recruitment challenges

After that, you will be required to create specific content for the recruitment newsletter

At Beyond, it is necessary to provide detailed content such as what kind of work you will be doing (understanding the job content), what kind of people you will be working with, and what kind of culture and atmosphere there is, so that people do not feel that they do not have the information or do not understand

Rather than providing information aimed at an unspecified number of people and giving them a vague aspiration such as "I want to work at a company like this," it is important to develop content that is limited to those who represent Beyond's persona, so that they can empathize and understand and think I want to work at this company

Conversely, we need to create as many pieces of content as possible that will make people think specifically, "I applied to/want to work at BEYOND because I saw this content." The people we want to hire are our future colleagues, so we learned through the recruitment newsletter and this study session that it is important to increase the amount of content that reaches these future colleagues

It is true that Beyond is undertaking a variety of initiatives, but it appears that future challenges lie in being able to connect the dots as a whole to draw lines, making each dot stronger, and even drawing new dots

After participating in this study session, I realized that although Beyond has achieved some things, there are still many areas that need to be explored. In particular, although we have always been conscious of making people aware of Beyond (recruitment public relations), we realized that there are still many areas that need to be improved when it comes to measures to take once people know about Beyond (recruitment information)

Both recruitment PR and recruitment information are important. In order to create and develop a variety of content, I feel that we need to pay even more attention to recruitment information

Of course, recruitment public relations requires the cooperation of members, but recruitment newsletters require more specific information, so we need the cooperation of members more than ever before
