[New Graduates] What changes occurred in new graduate employees that they noticed at the end of the year?

Changes that occurred to new graduates after eight months of work

Before I knew it, it was the end of the year New Year's Eve soba noodles [Wagi].

Last time, I talked about
the things I wish I had learned before joining the company this time I'd like to talk about the changes that have occurred since I joined the company.

What is this change?

The change I've noticed
is the speed of chat replies .
In our daily lives, we are surrounded by various chat tools such as LINE, X (formerly Twitter), and Discord.
The speed of replies has clearly become faster.

As a working professional, I realize every day that a slow response affects trust.

"interactions" where the speed of response is directly linked to the outcome, such as work-related communications, sharing documents, and progress reports

By spending eight hours every day in that kind of environment,
I got into the habit of not " ignoring unread messages " or " ignoring read messages

Is it okay for such a change to occur?

Yes, there is absolutely no problem.
In fact, it's a very, very good change!!!

For example, by being able to respond more quickly,
I can now participate in gatherings that I was previously unable to attend, and
I am freed from the feeling of obligation to respond.

Of course, there will be messages that make you hesitate about whether to reply or not,
but by replying quickly, you can actually shorten the time spent on the exchange.

lastly

However, this is based solely on my own subjective opinion, so
I don't think there's any need to force yourself to reply quickly in everyday life.

However,
it's better to communicate quickly during work hours!!!

I hope you remember this
and will report back if anything changes.

Goodbye
