This is Komatsu from public relations!
In April, new members joined Beyond, and the number of members increased rapidly. click for the induction ceremony blog !
After the coronavirus pandemic, remote work has become commonplace, and many companies are now offering full remote work. On the other hand, after the coronavirus pandemic has ended, some companies are prohibiting full remote work. Beyond is not fully remote, but instead employs a hybrid system
One of the reasons why we value coming to work is that we value communication Of course, we value communication and greetings on a daily basis, but in order to create opportunities to communicate with members of other departments with whom we do not usually interact, the Organizational Culture Committee plans events and regularly holds in-house events. We are implementing it.
The Organizational Culture Committee is a committee created to improve the Beyond organization. We plan events and create opportunities for members to communicate with each other while keeping in mind the creation of pleasant interpersonal relationships while working. is called Soshibun internally is currently in its 7th term
In April, two events were held as events of the Organizational Culture Committee.
*Events are basically held on a voluntary basis.
Beyond Quiz Tournament
The event was held in early April because April 4th was the date of Beyond's establishment, and members from the Yokohama and Shikoku offices, who are not normally in the Osaka office, were in Osaka for the induction ceremony.
The content of the quiz was to get to know the company and the members anew, so we gathered a lot of past information about Beyond, received ideas from the members that could be used as quizzes, and created a 20-question quiz. They fought in battle.
It was a close battle with all teams competing well! I'm glad the event turned out to be more exciting than I expected. The event management side also collected various topics and created quizzes, and it was a lot of fun to discover new information!
Many of the events that we hold on a daily basis are only open to Osaka office members, and there aren't many opportunities to have events with members from other bases, so I personally feel that this was a valuable opportunity.
Cherry blossom viewing
This year, the cherry blossoms bloomed late, so the timing for cherry blossom viewing was perfect, and I was nervous about whether it would be held outside or indoors depending on the weather.
However, it ended up raining and the event was held indoors. Inside, Beyond has a common space, so we all had a great time eating pizza and hors d'oeuvres there. By the way, last year's event was held indoors due to rain. (I guess I'm cursed somehow)
It was a good time to communicate with members and new graduates with whom I don't usually interact.
We will also introduce some events before April! Among the events held in the 7th term of the Organizational Culture Committee, we held a Christmas party and a New Year's event.
Christmas party
We all enjoyed Christmas while eating cake and chicken. Everyone had a great time, with everyone bringing their own presents and exchanging presents by deciding who to exchange with using roulette.
By the way, I received an assortment of coffee drip packs, and since I love coffee, I was very happy! ! !
new year event
Just like New Year's Day, we ate shiruko (shiruko), played calligraphy, and played Beyond's in-house multi-cloud karuta (cloud karuta created by Beyond for in-house study purposes). At the beginning of the calligraphy, everyone seemed to have seen each other for the first time in a while, and I could feel the tension in their hands as they held the brushes.

summary
The Organizational Culture Committee will enter its 7th term in November 2023, and although half of it has passed in the blink of an eye, we continue to carry out regular activities throughout the 7th term.
All of the events introduced this time are handled from planning to implementation by the Organizational Culture Committee, which holds regular meetings and considers the types of events that members would want to participate in and enjoy. Masu.
As the number of people at BEYOND has increased, I think there are some members from other departments that I don't have much contact with, but I would be happy if we could build better relationships by communicating through various events.
We are planning events after May, so I hope that the Organizational Culture Committee will do our best to prepare so that we can create opportunities for communication among members.
We will be announcing the details of future events in the second half, so please look forward to it!
