This is Kawa from the System Solutions Department
It's May. I
imagine that new graduates are now in the midst of their intensive training.
This might be a tough time, but in the grand scheme of life, it's like a drop of water falling into a pond, so let's do our best while (in a good way) taking it easy.
Speaking of which, last month in mid-April, I took a bus from Osaka for about four hours and went on a week-long business trip to our Shikoku office (Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture)! (The sky is so wide!)

It might be presumptuous of me to write a blog while others have already done so, but I wanted to share the atmosphere of the Miyoshi office and its surroundings, so I'll be writing a report with lots of photos (compared to our usual)!

Is this an office?! Beyond's Shikoku office was better than I imagined
What is the Shikoku Office?
For those of you who don't know at all!
The Shikoku officea satellite office where Beyond is based at the "Former Seikai Ryokan" in Ikeda-cho, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture.
▼ Entrance

This building, which used to operate as a traditional Japanese inn, has been renovated and reborn as a rental office.
Our company office is located on the second floor. I recently worked in this building for about a week.
The whole town has a relaxed and calm atmosphere, which made it easy to work in a peaceful environment. It was a very enjoyable experience, quite different from Osaka.
Recommended facilities in the area
Other members have already written about the office, so I'd like to introduce some of my personal recommendations for nearby spots!
■ Supermarket

Food is essential for daily life, right?
Conveniently located near the station is "Daily Mart Frespo Awa Ikeda" on the left side of the map. They have a wide selection of goods and are open until 9 pm.
Another store, a little over 5 minutes' walk from the office and a little over 5 minutes' walk from the station, is "Sunshine Ikeda" on the right side of the map. What sets it apart is its abundance of local produce. The hassaku oranges shown below are an incredible bargain at 120 yen. Local production for local consumption is the best!

■ Bridge
Since the famous Kazurabashi Bridge was too far away to visit,Shikinoue Bridge,I went to

▲View from above
Actually, this bridge is for pedestrians only, as cars cannot cross it.
It's narrow, and the walkway is made of mesh. If you drop even a small object, it will fall straight into the river.

According to the Tokushima Prefecture website,
https://www.pref.tokushima.lg.jp/bridge/tokushima_bridge/2015020900375/
A slender pedestrian suspension bridge spans the reservoir of a dam.
The towers are 18.35m high, with a distance of 160.6m between the tower columns and a width of 1.7m.
H-beams are installed on both sides of the towers, and wind-resistant measures are installed on both sides of the walkway to prevent swaying.
That's what they said.
I cautiously took the photo, trying not to drop my smartphone. (It's definitely not something that can be dismissed as just dropping it.)
But the Yoshino River is incredibly beautiful. Recommended level: ★★★★★★★☆

■ Dining
I didn't eat out much to save money and be healthy, but I'd like to share a few of my experiences 🍣
"YAMAAI"

is especially popular at lunchtime. There are four types of set meals to choose from, which makes it very difficult to decide.
I spent 30 minutes agonizing over the choice before ordering the seared bonito set meal. It was exquisite.
"heso salon"
where the author stayed.4S STAY Awa Ikeda,A cafe & bar located on the first floor of
▼ Appearance

Heso Salon's signature dish is game meat, mainly wild boar and venison.
(Apparently, wild boar meat is hard to come by this year, so they have a limited supply.)
So, I ordered venison skewers

and Tokushima craft beer (with sudachi citrus).

It's bustling with customers day and night (the photos were taken before opening).

The accommodation, 4S STAY, is like a typical hostel, and to my surprise,
travelers from Europe and the Middle East come and go every day, making it a very lively place for foreign tourists.
The Beyond members also stay there every month, and the staff have been incredibly kind to us. It was a very comfortable place to stay.
