Hello, I'm Miyoshi, the recruitment manager

Now, todaythe "Enneagram personality test."I'd like to talk about

Are you familiar with the Enneagram personality test?
It's one of the popular personality tests these days, and it's interesting because it can be a helpful way to understand yourself and others.

What is the Enneagram test?

What exactly is the Enneagram assessment? It's a personality assessment tool that classifies people's personalities and behavioral patterns into nine types, analyzing the characteristics and thought patterns of each type. It
's also used in human resources to determine appropriate employee placement and job matching.

The Enneagram"core types"and"wing typeshas
The core typeamong the nine basic types (types 1-9)the personality trait that a person possesses most strongly.
The wing typeis influenced by the type adjacent to the core type.

For example, a type 4 person may be influenced by either type 3 or type 5, and would be expressed as 4w3 or 4w5.
Wings are added to the core type as auxiliary traits, allowing for a more specific and complex personality.

By digging deeper into your underlying motivations and behavioral patterns through an Enneagram assessment and deepening your self-understanding, you may be able to understand the situations in which you are most likely to feel stressed and in which situations you are most likely to perform well, which may also lead to improved communication and teamwork

I took the Enneagram test

So I also got diagnosed

The result was "Type 4 Wing 5(4w5)"! The last time I took the test, itType 5 Wing 4was
Type 4 is "The Individualist,"and Type 5 is "The Investigator."
In any case, it seems I have strong elements of both types.

Their strengths include a particular interest in creative fields, often utilizing their unique sensibilities in art and literature.
They possess a rich inner world while also having a strong desire for knowledge, allowing them to deeply analyze information and make calm judgments.

On the downside, he says he can sometimes be overly argumentative, feel lonely, and tend to withdraw into his shell. (;・∀・)

I can definitely relate to that.
When I realize I'm falling into overthinking, I'll try to use Wing 5's logical thinking to maintain a balanced perspective.

How to make use of the diagnosis

I feel like I have gained a deeper understanding of myself through the Enneagram assessment

By knowing the strengths and weaknesses unique to each type, you and your colleagues, you can use them effectively in your work and workplace

It will help you find ways to optimize roles to make the most of each person's strengths, and how to interact with each other in your everyday interactions to create a comfortable environment for both parties

I think it's also important to understand your weaknesses. Understand what situations make you feel stressed, and what habits and tendencies you have. Then you can analyze and think about whether to avoid those situations or find ways to deal with them

not merely about self-improvement, but also an important means of maintaining good relationships with others and applying it to work and the workplaceI felt that this was

In contrast, the Enneagram assessment focuses on deeper psychological motivations and behavioral patterns.

It's not a matter of one being better or worse; each tool captures different aspects of the character.
It's a good idea to try using them according to your own interests and goals!

summary

We have discussed how the Enneagram assessment can help you understand your underlying motivations and patterns of thinking and behavior

That said, I'll try to take any diagnosis as just a reference. It's
kind of like a form of entertainment.
It's only about tendencies, and ultimately, each person's nature and personality are different.

When someone puts into words the indescribable feelings and emotions inside me and tells me I'm "this type of person," I sometimes feel a little relieved (at least for me)

I will try not to feel like I know the other person, and I will not slack off on trying to get to know them, but rather to look at the person in front of me

If you're interested, please give it a try! (You can take the test here ('ω')ノJapan Enneagram Association)
