・Natural disappearance of e-mail newsletters

Get news about Beyond every other week! So, one month after joining the company, I started sending out e-mail newsletters without knowing what was right and what was left, but it was unpopular and disappeared naturally after about six months.

When I thought about it, I didn't read e-mail newsletters, and very few people around me read other companies' e-mail newsletters.

It disappeared so quickly that I don't even know if it lasted for 3 days or not.

There is no story! I've hit a wall and am only getting notifications about blog updates.

However, over the past year, my number of followers has increased by about 20.

This is because we did not release any new services or think of any new plans.

The existence of press releases was then forgotten.

To be honest, some of the 20 articles have content that I find myself thinking, ``Isn't there a need to write this?''

We also hold social gatherings at each Beyond study session sponsored by our company

Even though the social gathering was an opportunity to deepen interaction with the customers who came, there was an incident where I didn't have the courage to talk to the customers myself and ended up talking to someone in the company.

In other words, I was taking the easy way out.

You can talk to your relatives at any time, so as with public relations, you need to have a wide range of connections.

・Over budget due to attending too many exhibitions

2018 was the year we exhibited at the most events ever, including Game Creators Conference , Google Cloud Next , and Tokyo Game Show

As a result, the marketing budget was exceeded.

However, it is certain that the company's name recognition has increased by exhibiting at the event.

・I can't explain my services even if I'm standing at a booth at an exhibition.

At trade shows, we usually introduce our services to customers who come to our booth.

When I first stood at the Tokyo Game Show booth

I have been able to explain this so far.

If you can't explain your company's services, you're disqualified from public relations...I'll do my best next year.

・Recruitment is handled by people with no job hunting experience

I first joined Beyond as a part-time worker and then became a full-time employee, so I have never looked for a job.

However, as a recruitment officer, I conduct interviews and school visits.

It wasn't a waste of time, right?

These are some success stories and many failures in the public relations work I worked on in 2018.

I've made many mistakes, but I want to believe that none of my attempts were pointless.

I will always keep in mind what I learned this year so that I can make up for it next year.
