Basic knowledge of successful video promotion

yabu
Fun Co., Ltd.A presentation by Mr. Yabumoto from Something

Videos contribute to "increased credibility."
Because videos offer a simulated experience, it's easier to empathize with the content, which in turn improves credibility.

"Planning is everything"made a strong impression on me.

Videos, once created, can be used on other occasions as well.
This is what's called "multi-use." For example, for company information sessions or corporate websites…

I used to think, "Watching videos takes up time and uses up data..." but it seems that
young people these days don't care about that at all and it's become normal for them to "actively seek out videos to watch"... After all,
everything can be done on a smartphone.

Promotion using social media such as Facebook

GOOD WEBA presentation by Mr. Hayashi from

When you search for "Facebook ads," your search results will come out higher than Facebook

Facebook is basically a platform where you register with your real name and a photo of yourself.
If you run an ad and person A's friend (person B) likes it, person A will think, "Since B liked it, I'll check it out."
That's also a form of credibility, isn't it?

I'm sure you all do a lot of research online, but in the end, don't you often ask a knowledgeable friend?
Facebook ads can be turned into word-of-mouth when your friends "like" them.

check out things that my friends have liked on Facebook

100 times more cost-effective! Promotion using the media

chiba
A presentation by Mr. Chiba from the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Support and Promotion Association.
He's the mastermind behind the "Mason Jar Salad," which was a hot topic in 2015.
When you hear that, you naturally think, "Wow, he's an amazing person!"

That's basically it.
When you do PR and become famous, you're already one step ahead.
For example, when you're making a sales pitch, if you hear that they "launched Mason jar salads,"
people are more likely to listen to what you have to say.
Having brand recognition leads to a sense of security.

To achieve that, let's engage in public relations activities! That's what I'm talking about. In other words,"PR: Press Releases.
A press release is something you send to various media outlets saying, "We're going to do this, please cover it!"

However, thousands of PR materials reach the media, so ordinary ones won't get noticed.
That's why we need to add an "entertainment" element...

Anything beyond this will be reserved for those who attended this study group!

How to create a stable infrastructure for web promotion

Sato
A presentation by Sato from our company Beyond

Simply put, this is a message to "Don't underestimate the importance of infrastructure!!"
Sometimes, when a site gets a sudden surge in traffic—like when it's going to be broadcast on TV or hit by a Yahoo! flood—you
don't want to see that "503" error. (Not jeans.)

The error message is "The server is overloaded and the web page cannot be viewed."

No matter how hard the website side tries, it won't help, so we need to work on the infrastructure side

The technology introduced that day was "CDN" (Content Delivery Network).
By placing a CDN in front of your server, the CDN caches your content and
returns that cached content to visitors of your website, thus reducing the load on your server.
Moreover, it allows for high-speed content delivery.

A website being inaccessible means lost opportunities, so you want to avoid taking it down as much as possible, right?

lastly

This study session was a great success!
We received a lot of feedback in the questionnaires, and
many people said it was "good." Despite some hiccups, such as running behind schedule, we still received valuable comments, so we
will work to improve on our weaknesses and further develop our strengths!

Also, thank you to everyone who spoke on stage!
It was well-received, so we may ask you to speak again in the future. We look forward to seeing you then!

Our next Unity study session is scheduled for May.
If you're interested, be sure to check it out!
