Real experience! Things you should do before issuing a press release
table of contents
My name is Ito and I am an infrastructure engineer.
We want people to know more about our company's name on Beyond! I have started a web marketing department and am working on it.
In fact, this technical blog is also part of our marketing activities.
Renewal of the corporate website is also part of the activities of the Web Marketing Department.
The homepage has been renewed. | Beyond Co., Ltd.
In addition to these activities, we also carry out activities such as ``Let's publish a press release and spread the company's name to the world!''
However, since I've never done a press release before, I decided to give it a try, but there were
a few things that made me think, ``Well, it would have been better if I had done it in advance!'' I would like to introduce you.
By the way, we have issued the following two press releases.
Creating an LP
It's great to come up with a plan, create a press release, and send it out to all the companies involved, but
what do you do with it? I don't understand that! !
I just released it and it was over, and I couldn't see the future flow.
If you create a landing page, even if it's simple, and summarize what you do,
it will be kinder to people who see your press release and decide to contact you.
Now that I think about it, I'm like, ``I guess so.''

Making flyers
This is also the same as a landing page.
For example, if you can put out a flyer that says, ``This is what we're doing'' during your sales activities,
it will become a great topic to talk about during your sales activities.
Since you can't always see your landing page, the more you create flyers, the
more times you'll be exposed to them.
...I have to make flyers.
Measures for interviews
I was surprised when I sent out the press release, but suddenly I got an interview.
It was my first time, so I was really scared.
I've never been interviewed before.
(Actually, it's a secret that I was surprised, thinking, "Are you really coming?!")
In such a case, the best thing to do is to come up with a set of questions and answers that say, ``I wonder what kind of questions I'll get, so I'll give these answers.''
The interview was a success! ? It ended in a certain media and was published.
I'm currently checking to see if I can release it, so I'll release it if I get the OK again.
This may be common sense for those who are usually in charge of public relations, but
doing something different will require you to use your brain.
Well then.
