How to prepare for an exhibition in advance! Tokyo Game Show Edition: 3 points to get a good response!

table of contents
Hello, I'm Shinji Nakauchi from the Technical Sales Department
Following on from last year, we will be exhibiting at this year's Tokyo Game Show (TGS)
Here are some preparations you should make before exhibiting at TGS. (I learned most of this from Mr. Shigemoto of Escadora, who exhibited with us last year.)
ticket

Beyond's turnkey booth will have 100 invitation tickets (110 for CESA members), and you can freely decide how these will be used for Business Day pre-registration application tickets and general admission tickets
If you were to purchase 100 Business Day pre-registration application tickets, which would normally cost 5,000 yen, you would receive 5,000 yen x 100 tickets = 500,000 yen for free
This is pretty big
It is no exaggeration to say that whether or not you can distribute all of these invitation tickets will determine the success or failure of your exhibition
Here's a naughty story: there's a good chance that people who you give a ticket to will come and see your booth
Since we are handing out 100 flyers, there is less idle time and we are able to have customers at the booth
Customers will be more likely to visit a booth with a certain number of people than a booth that looks empty and boring, so your chances of meeting new customers will increase dramatically
promotional materials
When you go to an exhibition, not just TGS, you end up picking up a considerable amount of brochures
If you've ever been to an exhibition, you'll know that the process is roughly like this
Enter the venue
↓
Receive a large bag of promotional materials
↓
Put the pamphlets you received at each booth into the bag
↓
Take them home and examine them
↓
Most of the pamphlets go in the trash
But what about a "uchiwa" fan? There's a chance they'll turn around and look up at the hand that's not holding the bag. They'll be turning around and looking up at the fan with the company name on it, so there will be more opportunities for it to be seen by people
There is also a possibility that they will use it at work, so we believe that fans are the best promotional item!

TGS will be held in mid-September, and it's still hot out, so fans are the perfect item!
Appointment System

This system is an appointment system for exhibitors to hold business meetings with each other, or between exhibitors and visitors, during the event. (At TGS on Business Days, visitors also register their personal information.)
You can make an appointment with the person you want to meet from the list and, if they give you permission, you can even negotiate
lastly
Once we've distributed all 100 tickets and all the fans, I think there will be a decent response
If you are only exhibiting on Business Day, I think you will get better results if you avoid drinking too much on the first night and are able to take on the second day in top condition (although that's the hardest part...)
