There seems to be a Linux Credit Card that can support Linux just by using it.

Hello.
I'm Mandai, in charge of Wild on the development team.
Actually, I just didn't know about this, but there is something called a Linux Credit Card that allows you to support the Linux Foundation just by using it!
What an amazing credit card!
What's so great about it?
First, you need to apply for a Linux Credit Card.
At this point, $50 will be paid to the Linux Foundation.
Just by applying for a Linux Credit Card, you can contribute to Linux development.
(To be precise, if you spend more than $50 on the card within 90 days of applying for a credit card.)
Additionally, use the Linux Credit Card
, which gives a percentage of your spending to the Linux Foundation.
So the more you use it, the more you donate to the Linux Foundation
whether there is any benefit to the card companies in this
, but I think that just creating it would be a significant contribution.
It has been stated that the money from this card will be used to run the Linux Foundation and will never go into Professor Linus' pocket
If you collect bonus points, you can get over 100 online benefits, such as gift certificates and airline tickets, which is a common benefit offered by regular credit cards
Also,
- No annual fee
- low interest rate
- Purchase Guarantee
- Protection against fraudulent use of your card
- Cash advance service for when you're in trouble
- Reporting loss or theft
- 24-hour roadside assistance
- Warranty manager service (Does this mean a warranty for the purchased product? I'm not sure...)
- Replacing lost luggage (What would you like to exchange it for?)
It has a lot to offer. Or should I say it has all the features and perks you would expect from a credit card?
This was an opportunity to contribute to the Linux Foundation, which I am always grateful for, so I thought I would make a card right away...or so I thought
The Linux credit card is available only to US residents. Unfortunately, due to a lack of partners to work with to expand the program to other countries, we do not plan to expand the program at this time
.
Zuko!
A bank with a global presence like Citibank might have been able to distribute the card in Japan, but the bank we partnered with this time was UMB Bank, located in Kansas City, Missouri.
If I were to move to the US, this was the kind of card I would definitely want to get.
Highly recommended for engineers living in the US

That's it.
