There seems to be something called a Linux Credit Card that allows you to support Linux just by using it

Hello.
I'm Mandai, the Wild team member in charge of development.
Actually, I just didn't know about it, but there's a Linux Credit Card that lets you support the Linux Foundation just by using it!
What an amazing credit card!
What's so great about it?
First, you create a Linux Credit Card.
At this point, $50 is automatically paid to the Linux Foundation. So,
simply by creating the card, you're contributing to Linux development.
(More precisely, this applies if you spend $50 or more on the card within 90 days of creating it.)
Furthermore, you can use a Linux Credit Card,
which means a percentage of your spending will be paid to the Linux Foundation.
So the more you use it, the more you donate to the Linux Foundation
: is there any benefit for the credit card companies?
But even just creating an account would be a significant contribution, wouldn't it?
It has been stated that the money from this card will be used to run the Linux Foundation and will never go into Professor Linus' pocket
If you collect bonus points, you can get over 100 online benefits, such as gift certificates and airline tickets, which is a common benefit offered by regular credit cards
Also,
- No annual fee
- low interest rate
- Purchase Guarantee
- Protection against fraudulent use of your card
- Cash advance service for when you're in trouble
- Reporting loss or theft
- 24-hour roadside assistance
- Warranty manager service (Does this mean a warranty for the purchased product? I'm not sure...)
- Replacing lost luggage (What would you like to exchange it for?)
It has a lot to offer. Or should I say it has all the features and perks you would expect from a credit card?
This was an opportunity to contribute to the Linux Foundation, which I am always grateful for, so I thought I would make a card right away...or so I thought
The Linux credit card is available only to US residents. Unfortunately, due to a lack of partners to expand the program to other countries, we do not currently
have plans to expand it.
Zuko!
A global bank like Citibank might have had a chance of being distributed in Japan, but the bank that partnered with them this time is UMB Bank, located in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a
card I would definitely like to get if I ever move to the United States.
Highly recommended for engineers living in the US
