Use Google Analytics with an account other than Gmail!

This is the content division's car.

Normally, by creating a Google account such as Google Analytics and search console, you can use various services, but even if you create an account every time, you will not use Gmail, so you can use Google AdWords (Google Ads), a Google service. I want to use my own domain email account and make it a shared account within my company without creating a new Gmail every time!

I looked into it to see if there was anything I could do about it, and since I found it, I'll leave a memorandum.

Let's prepare in advance.

1. Install Google Chrome (since I haven't tried it with other browsers)
2. Log out of the Google account you are currently using (you will be logged in on the registration page)
3. Receiving settings for the email address you are registering with (you will receive a confirmation code email when authenticating)
4. Prepare your phone number for authentication (you will receive a code confirmation via SMS or voice)

 

So let's move on.

When you search for "Create a Google Account", "Create a Google Account - Google Accounts" will be displayed at the top, so just click on it.
If it does not appear, please use the URL below.

A little below where it says "[email protected]" there is a blue link text that says "Use current email address instead", select it.

The previous “username @gmail.com” has been changed to “email address”.
Then, it says ``Use your current email address instead'' ⇒ ``Create a Gmail account instead.''

Enter the necessary items and enter your own domain email in the "Email address" field.
*This time, we will register using a unique domain email account called [email protected]

When you enter your password and select "Next", you will receive an email to authenticate your identity at [email protected]

You will be redirected to the email address confirmation page, so enter the confirmation code you received via email.

Next, you will be redirected to the phone number confirmation page, where you will need to enter a valid phone number.
*If you use a landline phone number or an IP phone number, you can do so on the next page.

When you are redirected to the confirmation code entry screen, enter the confirmation code you received via SMS.
If your phone number doesn't receive SMS, select "Use voice calls instead."
You will receive a phone call and receive a confirmation code via voice.

After entering the verification code, select "Confirm".

You will be redirected to a page where you can enter your date of birth and gender, so enter them obediently and select "Next".

You will be redirected to the phone number utilization page, but I skipped it.

That's it! That's it!
"Welcome, Mr. Hoge Kuruma" is displayed.

By the way, when I checked my account, the original domain email I had registered was now my Google account.

You can also use Google services such as Google AdWords (Google Ads), Google Analytics, and search console.

It's fine to create a normal Gmail, but if you use Google's services with your own domain email, such as sharing settings when operating a website, you'll end up with an extra email address and you'll end up logging in with a personal account. I think there will be less confusion when I have to relax and take over something in the future...

Also, if you use the paid G Suite, it will be more convenient, so if you feel that it is inconvenient, you may want to change it.
